I was speaking with a machinist at my job and he had a little turner’s cube he made for fun sitting on his bench. I had never seen one before and it completely blew me away. seeing one being made is rad. machinists are wizards!!!!

The Z axis of the milling machine should be adjusted...Have you seen how wobly is the vertical movement? No prrecission there

nice build! seriously! very nice machine work, but i wouldnt recomend using that oil. not just yet. its a virgin pump. there is going to be very small particles of brass and steel. i would mix a honing solution first and run that. then would be okay to use that pump.

Do you know why this pump isn't working at all? You're forgot to spring rollers to external walls. Even in dental maschines it's tiny rotor flaps havs been pushed by 1.5mm dia. springs. Yes, dental drills feeds by compressed air, but excentric rorots are pumps and motors same time.

Do don't know how much id like one them little drill driven pumps handy for moving my waste veg oil from fish & chip shops to run in my vehicle. I didn't know that they use the round vanes instead the flat ones i guess it makes smooth sense that they roll, i wander if they last as long as the vane flat or rectangular vane pumps.
