I love all your work Dale! Also your colourful dress and hair ❤❤
thanks
Beautiful pages and covers Dale. Thanks so much for sharing your work and explaining how you did it 💚💚
Green is my favourite colour and this use of dissolvable plastic is the most interesting item l have seen in a long time. Well done
I've been thinking about doing this and just now found your channel. You make it look pretty easy, like something I could actually do! Thank you for the inspiration and sharing your experience!! :-)
Nice work from peter Scotland xx
Really good Dale ! Beautiful results but I guess you use a lot of thread?
Suppose I do but if goes a long way!
Beautiful work 👏🏼
Watching this for the third time. It is amazing what you focus on each time you watch. Gonna try some Weaving and machine felting with sari strips. Love that you are bare footed! I dislike wearing shoes...😅
Lovely and remarkable. Hopefully you exhibits will lead to a museum
OMG …Dale ROLLERSON I am getting lost in my Thread Studio Stash that I’ve collected from your sublime Virtual Verandah…just can’t imagine how much is in your stash and how you find the time and energy to keep it sorted…!!!
I hate losing things!
Love it!❤❤❤
I can't quite make out how you referred to the felt. Was it "pre-felt"? I'm always interested in the kind/source of felt people are using for slow stitching.
Yes it’s a prefelt hand dyed
Thank you Dale your work is really inspiring and I love your colour choices ❤
I love the colour palette you’ve used ❤
Excellent! Everything about it is excellent. Thanks, Dale! 💜💜💜
Love this
Beautiful Dale❤
I love your card making! Very simple but so very effective. Thanks for your video. 😀
Oops, sorry, this should have said CORD making!
Cool!
Dale so beautiful would love to see those books. Thanks
Wow an interesting technique 🤗
I love your inspiration! Thank you!
Thanks I have one but have never tried it. Now I am inspired to do so
it's a fabulous machine!
Thanks Dale. The Moonglow range looks good.
I love them
Thanks Dale, love your demos as they not too long but give a spring board to new ideas
that's the idea
Fabulous Dale. Did you add the scrim to the back or front when using the embellisher? Adds a great extra texture. Love the weaving idea. I have a felted piece I no longer like, so tomorrow am going to cut it up and play with it in advance of a weaving post card I need to make for a swap. Only thing is it has beads on, so wish me luck they don't all fal everywhere. I knotted regularly so fingers crossed.
I usually put the scrim on the back and turn it over and work the machine through the scrim so that that fibres show through. Yes - good luck with the beads!!
I can’t wait to try this. Thanks so much Dale. Enjoy your day.
Hi! what is the fibrous paper called? Great video!
www.thethreadstudio.com/catalogue/fibre/mulberry/bark.htm mulberry bark
Is the powder? the same as mod pogde? So cool!!
I used matt medium no powder
Thank you once again! Another great way to get words into our art.
I’ve also used organza fabric for a not so textured piece
yes I thought of that too but forgot to grab some - it would be perfect
Love this. Something new to try 😊 Thank you.
Thank you so much for sharing your technique!
Well, that’s very cool. Thanks! 💜💜💜
I love “ even when it goes wrong it can be right”
Fascinating! I can't wait to try this
Always something new and different. What is the leveling gel specifically made for? Oh, I can look that up. When I would ask my mom how to spell a word, she told me to look it up. I said the same to my daughter as she was growing up. So we became good with words. She has a degree in journalism. 🥰💜💜💜
you know I am nt sure - I have only ever used it for this transfer! I need to look it up too
@@dalerollerson 🙂
Fantastic project! Thank you for sharing. Are these images on photo paper or do you make copies on regular copy/printer paper? You might have said and I missed that part.
these ones are on regular print paper and I do both laser and inkjet prints. I have photo paper but haven't tried it here
@@dalerollerson thank you so much for getting back to me about this. I have those papers and a printer so this is perfect! Yay. I'll let you know when I try it out. Can't wait!
@@stephaniehopkinsartist do let me know how you get on
Where can you order these from please? Thank you! I really like your work.
We sell them - www.thethreadstudio.com/catalogue/hand/gimp/gimptts.htm and www.thethreadstudio.com/catalogue/hand/gimp/gimp.htm
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. I'm in the same place with photos of parents and this has really helped give me ideas of how to put them together.
Good luck - it’s more work than I thought because I am only using papers and photos of my family- trying to sort through them all !
@@dalerollerson I find most creative pastimes are more work than we think, probable why everyone has so many UFO's. LOL
What a wonderful project! I miss my mother every day. 💜💜💜
❤looks great❤😊
Fabulous looking forward to seeing your progress 😀
Basically what illustrators an some artist painters do with their work, but on different undergrounds Keep up the good work! Love it
Great ideas!
Love this.. thank you🦋
can the silk paper be used in wet felting?
No
so beautiful🤩 can the silk papers you have made with fabric medium be wet felted with merino tops?
Thanks and no once you have added textile medium you can’t add it to your wet felting
Those are WONDERFUL!!
Totally beautiful
