He’s an imposter who protects her at all costs, even to sacrifice himself. A promise made to her parents to always keep her safe, knew her as a little girl, best friends with mother, lots of explanations. Liz’s Reddington burns down the house in Takoma because it was his wife and daughter who were murdered. This took place on Christmas Eve in 1990. Ilya was a Russian KGB op working in the Russian embassy in the U.S. After this tragedy he returns to Katarina to help her with her mess. Later The fire happens. He saves Masha. The real Reddington had a wife and daughter, Carla and Jennifer. He left them to keep them safe from the Cabal and the Russians looking for the fulcrum. Then he discovers Katarina is working for the Cabal and has betrayed him. Navy records him as a deserter to his family on Christmas Eve 1991. Yet Carla says he left them on a Wednesday. They argue that and where Masha will live. KGB ops come to find the fulcrum, Ilya is there. (See above) Reddington is shot by Masha, then Fire erupts. Ilya saves Masha. Many facts are inaccurate and not consistent. But the entire story clearly shows two different men having two different families. Many fans seem to confuse them altogether when this is incorrect.

Season 8 was disturbing. The writers allowed Liz to go to the dark side way overboard. Then the next day she’s all on with Reddington. Bad writing.

Back in 92, i had been living with a woman for 7 years. She was 4 months pregnant when i met her. We named the baby girl Kaleigh rae stroupe. We had a fight, we separated for 3 days. She moved in with her mother. I called her and said im sorry, please come home to me and kaliegh, we need you, and i love you. Her response was im seeing someone else now, we’re moving in together. 3 days!😮 I was crushed, i was suicidal. My only reason for NOT blowing my brains out was the little girl, from another man, I raised as my own. Historically women are treacherous and vicious. She let another man get that coochie in less then 3 dsys, and abandoned her little girl. To this day, KALEIGH is my daughter.

V glad u ended it onna good note. Even though there are a couple of good scenes to use from s5-7. Its a v small amount compared to scenes in season 1-4. But would still love to see those good recent scenes to spice things up😊
