Campervan restoration- Against all the odds
Thanks for the video. I have a cayenne diesel and this is super helpful
Thought you did a good job with explaining the set, I would have really liked to have seen you make the physical movement on video. On the whole not bad son.
Helpful, thanks 👍
Where to buy all this instruments can you give me the names of all the instruments you use
Changing my glow plugs on my Audi Q7 3.0 TDI (CZZA) tomorrow. 6 regular sparkplugs for about $75
Brilliant thank you for sharing your talents
My carbs are taking a longer time come down to idle on my 32's. Could that be bimetal choke issue?
Finally done mine well 5 of them number 2 feels like it's gona snap great video mines an a5 2.7 tdi almost the same the wiring is slightly different didn't need to remove anything to get to number 3 but did for 4 the lead caps all broke unfortunately
Excellent👍👍👍
great video, just wondering what actually adjusts the idle once it is all set up? mine is running too low just now..
Thanks
I'm working on my 69 ghia with my son that we saved from the car crusher 👍👍👍👍
Great van. I had a 1970 that I bought for 100 dollars back in the 70's. Great for traveling to many great concerts 👍👍

nice seats in the cab, Porsche 924? look good :)
Hi, I thought they were 911 seats but it turns out they are from a 928. They were easy to fit and are just the right height. I had them professionally recovered. I deliberately bought manual seats as I did want the electrics. Thanks.
Personally, I would have kept the upright fridge and put a covered cassette toilet between the seats with a curtain that separates the cab area 4 privacy. I also would use that tall cabinet as hanging space. On the whole....beautiful restoration.
Thanks for the video. What tool do you use to set the 0.1mm and 0.6mm gap?
I used a feeler gauge but you should use feeler wire. Having said that when I span the engine up both gaps were way to big with the idle running to high. In the end I set the normal idle to zero gap (So it breathes through the hole in the throttle plate. And the fast idle is probably about 0.2mm. I actually adjusted them instu and used an air flow meter to balance the chokes. I have fitted a easier flowing exhaust pipe (vintage speed) this might explain why the idle was too high.
J'ai acheté ce carburateur mais quoi qu on face ça ne prend pas ralenti ke faire
I knew it was a technical video when you said thingamajiggy. Jokes aside good video
Hell brother if diesel filter is bad the glow plugs it appear on dashboard
I put the same plugs in all cylinders. The plugs that came out were all identical as well, so no pressure sensor plug
Did you need a “pressure sensor” on your #2 plug or did you put the same glow plugs in all 6? Thank you for the video.
hi, what the torque setting for these.
15 on 2012 audi a7
Hi, is it the same process for Q7 tdi?
How many miles or kilometers on the V6 tdi?
Hi, only done 90k miles so low mileage and I’ve owned it from new.
Just take steady and apply pressure gently, if the plug won’t turn you can try tightening it a fraction, then loosen it a fraction don’t rush. Good luck
Hero! i was not looking forward to doing mine, now my mind is at ease
Thanks for this ,I'm going to be doing mine any day now 👍🤞UPDATE did today easiest glow plugs I've done
Good video ,Was the car struggling to start when cold before you changed these?
I believe this is one of the only videos that explains how to remove the rear 2 glow plugs, thanks!
Nice one!! Loving the videos! You should use SMZeus . c o m. It is the best way to promote your videos!
One job I refuse to do, these glow plugs like to snap.
Nice one
My carbs are being a pain at the minute, could do with a good look at by someone who knows what they are doing
