My 2024 has the passenger foot pegs. Do I need to buy passenger floor board mounts from Harley or can I get them from DHC?

@MotoStacy i thought I felt a difference, sometimes it can be a placebo effect. But when run against a bike we've run with 100 times, there was no difference. And yes I've run a couple autotune sessions.

@ well that’s a bummer. And you are correct it could be a placebo effect. You spend the money and the time installing it, your brain probably thinks, yes that is way different. I didn’t do any testing prior to installation and since it is a newer model there isn’t enough data out there to really do comparisons. I do ride with my buddy who has the exact same bike in a different color and I definitely beat him at the start. But he also doesn’t have the wedge either. It could be I’m getting more air to the engine.

I bought it from Harley that way. i ordered it online and selected the black option. they sell it chrome also.

@@markgill3197 devil head choppers. It comes in a bundle which has a bunch of extras. I can’t remember what the cost was but make sure you tell them the year and make if your bike.

@@lyndonbritt3728 I totally agree. I literally can’t use it on my bike. I just switched to a 10” red klockwerks sport flare windshield for looks. If I travel a long distance I will put the 13.5” klockwerks on.

I’ve been doing a lot of research, I love the front fairings of the bigger bikes and I also plan on doing some cross country stuff but I also want to ride around town. Been looking at every dealership around Indiana where I live . The low rider ST or the street glide, if I’m able to find any under the 20k limit from the boss lol

@@BearJew911 I use to own a street glide and I loved it. The Low Rider St will be alot lighter of a bike though. Better for riding around town, but for long rides, the street glide would be the answer.

@ I probably won’t do a whole lot to the motor. More of a tourer and I like a comfortable ride. I have Wilbur’s shocks on there and Michelle’s commander 3 tires. I may get like a naked sport bike like a MT-09 to go fast.

I asked Mark and he said there is plenty of room. He said hasn’t wore bulky gloves yet though. Probably won’t need them with the wind blocking.

I have a huge favor to ask. I just received my guards with LEDs and was following your installation process until the part you said the split wire plugs in the back of the headlight. I’m little confused how this connection was made as none of the wires that came in the box fits the back of the light. Each LED light has built in a wire with square box on it and additional wire with Y split is provided, no other adapters. Would you be so kind and help me make that connection with the headlight? I’m stuck…Much appreciated

@ did you remove the headlight completely?

@ you have to take the headlight completely off and I believe you will see how it connects. That was the problem we had was we didn’t remove the headlight completely so we couldn’t see how it was connected. Sorry I was so slow responding. I was calling skinner for a refresher.

@@painsrides yes. And we as consumers continue to make these slight adjustments. I’m trying to do it on the cheaper side and not invest all my money into Harley oEM parts.

@@MotoStacy OEM or any parts with the factory logo on them are usually overpriced. Especially with Harley, the bike can practically be rebuilt from the ground up, better than OEM with aftermarket parts ..

To each his own. I’m normally not this flashy but I use to have matte black street glide and since I bought the white bike I wanted to spice it up.

@@MotoStacy By no means am I disrespecting you or your bike. It looks great. I can appreciate people that trick out there rides to personalized it your liking. I have garage full out parts I bought throughout the years that I installed on my bikes and then decided that I didn't like it and took the part off. Keep it up!
