7 eleven has been fully acquired by japan since 2005. 7 eleven started in Dallas TX over 100 years ago as ice distributor back when refrigerators were not electric and it was just a big ice box. People got big blocks of ice delivered to their home to put in their refrigerator.

@calebcavanaugh7963 You have made it very clear that you have problems. Nobody is jealous of you, him or your fake "boys club". You don't even know what your point is, because everything has been explained to you already. You are the hater, you clearly don't like Veterans, and you think it's funny to put down the ones who never came home. It's not my fault you have no common sense, and you attach yourself, like some kind of virus, to things like James. That's on you.

Let me be serious now, you do not deserve respect, especially from me. You do NOT get to tell me what to say or do. I actually did something for this country, unlike you. It's ghetto! And the delivery is the exclamation point. Some choose to indulge in this person's content, that is their choice. It's no different than when Joe Rogan says something some groups might find off color. I personally do not enjoy either person's content. This ignorant rant is no different than when some politicians claimed Haitian immigrants were eating the cats and dogs of the community and stealing birds from the parks. It's ignorant and spreading misinformation in an attempt to further their own agenda. I don't know this person, but looking and listening to the soundbite and delivery style, it's typical ignorance catering to a low base of consumers. Looking at the results of the USA election, you can see how catering to a low base can be beneficial. This is the real sickness. The number of people that believe this filth and spread it like wildfire. Mental acuity of the world is on a downward slope. This kind of "information" used to be relegated to gossip magazines and tabloids where people had to spend money for it. But now it is free and available in abundance where anyone can "have a voice" and be like "ghetto" Oprah... No disrespect to Ms. Winfrey.

The government is run by useless myopic old men who keep doing everything but what the actual solutions are to the problems. Solutions that JAPANESE researchers, professors and sometimes even the bureaucrats are telling them to do. The LDP and Komeito are seriously useless sacks of shit. So I’d say it’s more like they are already“doing something”… rather than actually doing something. As for that video and influencer… yeah there is a bunch of stuff out there recently hating on successful black men marrying white women and the recent manoverse passport bro B.S. Whatever with all that noise. People, date and marry whomever you like… whomever it is that is going to be your best partner… someone with similar values and goals. Who you love is no one else’s business but your own.

6:00 Wow I relate to this. I went to university in America with a Japanese exchange student. After graduating we would text often and on a visit to Tokyo we met and I flirted in what I see from my western perspective as very direct, and felt it was reciprocated. At the end of what I thought was a date I joked about kissing and this woman said "oh next time". I was a little embarrassed but took her words at face value. I returned to Tokyo a few months later and she was happy to meet again, only this time she spent the night trying to set me up with her friends. I told her about my feelings for her at the end of the night again and she acted very surprised and said she's had a boyfriend this whole time and thought I knew. (Without ever posting him online or mentioning him) I was confused and apologized, feeling like a jerk. But now I realize it's probably a cultural difference that I couldn't read between the lines. Interesting discussion and it was cool to see you on James' channel!

I can only speak to groups I've worked with as an American. My preference is actually working with Japanese or Chinese. Chinese are strangely more like American culture, because you can be different and criticize an idea without offending the boss as long as you propose solutions. I also found it's not too hard to be actual friends in China (north is easier than Canton which is tighter knit). Japan was great to work with, but even after 20 years I probably only have a few actual friends (who will call me when they visit US and expect me to contact them if I'm in Japan). I think I've been to 2 friend's houses in the whole time. However, in business the whole "succeed or fail together" really makes working with Japanese groups easier than the strange internal competition you can get sometimes in China and always in Korea. At the same time, inviting someone to your home in the US is just normal (I know we have giant houses with filthy floors). In Korea they will set up competing groups for the same task and spy/cheat to get the boss's approval. The boss will even help with the spying so that the groups are "more equal". Drinking culture is also changing in Japan, but it never felt as forced as Korea (literally you must finish the drink every time the boss drinks and drink what he drinks shoju/beer). 飲み会 looked much more productive in Japan than the hierarchy of Korea. I do have good friends in Korea too, and as individuals it's much easier to get to know people, but the business environment is the most toxic I've seen. Britain and Ireland 🤣, OMG I understand them, but it can be so broken. Soooo passive aggressive "need to know" for basic information. Germans can actually be easier to work with. French are really strangely hierarchical, I always thought they would be happy go lucky.
