Can't ask for any better then that! There are some times you might see a little blur, but over all it looks great!

Looks pretty good in general, but sometimes in the distance it seems to be blurred at times. But over all looks good for a $350.00 camera, and I see some of the close ups are blurred too as well. If your not satisfied I would send it back and get your money back, or keep it like me and live with it. That is my recommendation. That camera will go down in history as the worst camera that dji ever made, and they need to recall all the Action 3's. I'm not satisfied myself, but this is my first action camera I ever had. I bought it because everyone was nocking the GOPRO 11, it is no good, it over heats, battery life is very short, so I took a chance and went with the Action 3. It's better then I expected. But it don't come close to my Cannon HFG60, I bought the action cam just for a convenience of being small. And you don't need a gimbal. If shooting on a bright day, everything looks 1080p even after setting it on 4k. When I use my G60 and use 4k you see a big difference. So, I hope you take the route I took, just live with it. I do think the focus on this one is soft, not as bad as mine, but definitely soft in that 1st 30-60 centimeters, after that it's nice and as sharp as you would expect. If DJI had come out and said the closest focusing distance in 60 cm, I'm guessing none of this would have been an issue in the first place.

I'd send this back for repair, replacement or a refund.

It isn't the worst one I have seen but soft enough that it should be fixed or replaced.

Quality looks superb, I already own a go Pro hero 8, I have had so many issues with freezes, memory card getting corrupted, overheating and it also completely died out, I will definitely consider buying OA3

asides the current firmware that only adds sharpening to this topic. and aside compression of youtube. in my opinion at these time points felt the soft focus issues of min to semi min focus distance. 0:50 pot/ 3:04 signs behind plant pot slightly more in focus but not fully/ 8:47pot plant behind birdhouse slightly more focus/ 9:52 the bench behind dog focus is slightly more on there /10:18 self background focused and looking at letters on hat for comparison and 11:17 leafsin the middle in background between the birdhouse and plant next to it seems more focused in that area. Also try using a diopter (macro or magnify glass) at diff distance, that may help with testing focus

All the way from Denmark it looks great, no bad focus issue. Would be happy for a OA 3. Flemming Denmark.

What function do you assign the manual ring? I know you don't record in auto mode. When you say you mostly adjust exposure. Is it the exposure or AE Shift that you adjust? I am trying to follow your settings. For the My Button setting you use AE Shift, Shutter Speed and AGC limit, right. Sorry have too many questions.tks.

Hi, thanks for your video, nice visuals, and nice music choice. :D I plan to start a YT channel, and I want to buy this camera bad (I don't feel the need to spend the extra 200 dollars for the AX53)... BUT... I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which does a pretty great job at filming things and even does 4k, SO I'm wondering if I REALLY need a camera. I want to need to...

Images are beautiful. I did notice some vignetting on the wide shots especially with a lot of hand movement and the way the lens floats inside the camera body. I wonder if you had a filter attached to the front of lens. I ask because my ax53 doesn’t do that.

how does the ax53 fair in an indoor concert setting? most concerts have dark surroundings with really intense flood lights, and that together with the zoom, im really not sure how the video will turn out. it's definitely a consideration though!

You say you didn't have a lens on, did you have a lens hood? I saw something at slightly after 1:30 on the edges that I saw on my own footage when I used a lens hood..
