I love watching your videos ❤
Looks delicious
Muchas gracias desde Holanda!
Thank you! I had tuna a few days ago. Yum!
Thank you for your videos! Your so sweet!
I love this! My grandmother who is from Nicaragua isn’t doing so well. She isn’t cooking anymore and I wish I could’ve recorded her cooking her famous dishes. This is awesome.
What does baking soda do to beans?
to softness the beans, raw beans are too hard
Looks great! I would use olive oil instead to make it healthier
Lo estoy haciendo ahora mismo, gracias Mimi! ❤
Looks delicious. 😋Thanks for sharing🤗😍
I went to Nicaragua in 2016 and I am CRAVING gallo pinto so much! It was such a comfort food to eat. Absolutely delicious - wish I could try yours!
I will be making this using black berry juice and downsizing the puffs for my baby's snack! Awesome recipe
Si me gusto como lo hizo. Bendiciones
I have cooked for years and never minced an onion that way!
Going to make this tonight! 🤗
Ahora un gallo pinto con coco 🥥
My mom is Nicarguan, and therefor so am I! I love nica food and I love seeing it cooked!
El gallo pinto es tico🗣
Gracias Mimi Linda por compartir esta receta🫶 hoy voy hacer Galló Pinto 🫘 Que Viva Nicaragua 🇳🇮
Thank you, I'm going to make some tomorrow.
Yes!! A new Mimi recipe! I can’t wait to make it. 😊
¿Y porque corta el queso asi? Es mas facil cortalo en trozos de un solo lado sin darle tantos giros.
No Lizano sauce?
😋😋😋😋😋😋 Gracias 🎉
What kind of rice is? Basmati?
That is an Indian kind of rice, but, the cooking style/ process is straight up Nica.
Y Dios la espera con los brazos abiertos
Dios la bendiga, sepa que Dios la ama
Looks delicious and so fresh and crunchy!
Thank you.
Yay!! A new video. Thank you!
Looks great!
Looks yummy

el gallo pinto es de NICARAGUA. Duela a quien le duela
When she added the green peppers 🫑
If I am cooking only 14 oz of beans will I need to cook for less time? Gracias!
Yes, cook until the beans are soft.
it apply the same
Gracias!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you!! Looks good.
Why do you add baking soda to the beans?
The sodium bicarbonate is help minimize gastrointestinal issues from the beans.
to softness the beans, raw beans are too hard
I bought some red beans at the Mercado that read Salvadorian Beans, are these the same beans?
Those are good but must say ‘de seda’
Salvadorean beans are brought from Nicaragua to El Salvador then they export it to the world
Gracias Mimi! I love this recipe!
Save your self the hassle boil them first and then make gallo pinto don't buy the hard nica type though ,you can buy the softer American beans here just go to sedanos or el presidente
But you realize that without the right bean it’s not gallo pinto right? The long red bean Americans use have a different taste and texture to the short red bean Nicaraguans use.
@@GorditayContenta I agree.😊 I haven't eaten Gallo Pinto in years. If I find the Nicaraguan beans, I don't care about the "hassle." I'll go to every effort and follow every technique if I can. Nicaraguan ingredients are HARD to find and have. It's easier to find restaurants or things aimed at every other Central American country. It's Nicaraguan food that's the hardest to find or cook. So if people have the opportunity, wow you're lucky...! For me, eating traditional Nicaraguan food doesn't happen every year.
@@anaareasfodor I feel for you. We have a mixed Latino household (in Cuban Brazilian & my man is Nicaragüense) but we live in Florida so we can find ingredients and restaurants rather easily. However if I may suggest, Amazon can sometimes come in clutch for items that are very hard to find in the states.
Do u leave the whole cloves or do u take them out?
Yes, remove the whole cloves after the pineapple is cooked 😉
Yummy 😋
Yum
Que delicia me gusto mucho su estilo.
Abrazos tia❤
Muy bueno , gracias
