From when the commercial waste was privatised by the thatcher woman.... Took the waste charge out of the commercial rates . The Idea being you could then choose who serviced your bins......But did it at the same day as one of the biggest ever increases in the rating system. So no one noticed. @@billythebintruckdriver3952 ive just applied for it a got rejected a couple of months ago i know alot of the time it’s internal jobs that get it but im going too keep trying im currently a council worker for Eastrenfrewshire at Rouken Glen park used too be part of housing maintenance and environmental side dealing way contaminated bins and bin juice barking haha im currently a litter picker i want more work

If it's under 7.5 ton then you can drive it on a car license if you passed before a certain year(can't remember the date) if not then it falls under a class 2 hgv👍. I think there is a couple of videos on my channel showing the food truck emptying into the skip ,hope you enjoy.

@@Jackyboi1888 I have not had a shot of the new Daf yet 🤣, hoping to get my hands on it within the next couple of weeks. It looks like a good motor though, the dash is all electronic and it seems roomier. The cab is a wee bit higher as well over the current one. I'm hoping it's as reliable as our current one,and hopefully it hasn't got too many safety features on it to slow things down.
