Добавлен 4 фев 2015
Wind Cave National Park was created in 1903 and is one of the oldest National Parks. Today the park protects 146 miles of cave passage in Wind Cave, the sixth longest cave in the world, including unique boxwork formations and underground lakes. Wind Cave National Park also protects 33,851 acres of mixed-grass prairie and Ponderosa Pine forest that support bison, elk, pronghorn, deer, prairie dogs, and black-footed ferrets. Cave tours, a campground, scenic drives, and hiking trails are offered. These videos will let you take a virtual vacation to Wind Cave National Park to explore all that this park has to offer.

Some people think this video has a poor frame rate, but really it’s just that this cougar learned how to teleport
So the Lakota value cavemen? How do they reconcile spiders, worms, and bats living in a cave?
The Lakota has many deep truths to teach us . Even as far away as Australia I learn of earth and sky and water and the Spirit world from the Lakota . I am eternally grateful
✌🏻💚💨
I don't get it. Our own Winter Count shows us arriving at He Sapa in 1776 and we were east of the Missouri before that. How the hell did we come from a cave that was a thousand miles from our real homeland?
Wow wopila
I’m curious about the crosshairs of historical documentation and spiritual stories. I love this story and others like it with the American southwest. I also know it’s told as fact that the Lakota only came to the black hills area in the 1700s after being pushed out of Minnesota and Wisconsin by US expansion and conflict with anishinabe peoples. So I guess it would be interesting to know if the story is meant to be wind cave or if it’s just about a time when we lived underground and wind cave is there NOW for Lakota people OR if there is a longer mysterious past about Lakota peoples in the area of the black hills that some of us don’t know about, like, much of the extremely fascinating unknown history of the americas. Or even a tale told TO the Lakota by inhabitants of the area prior to their arrival in the black hills that they met upon moving into the area. Anyway I ramble, but fascinating stuff to put one’s mind to either way. Thanks for sharing :)
It just showed up in my RUclips .. 😍😍😍 I love Native American stories , traditions 😍. Beautiful story ♥️♥️♥️
Because it tells another way of seeing things
Do you have more stories I can hear. If you have shared more, where can I find them? Thank you
track & field cat
That was a great story of good and evil. And of staying to the Creator and his words.
There is no good/evil. Is the ocean evil? The moon evil? An earthquake good? A lion good? A tiger evil? There is no Creator and it’s not a male. And if there was, it would most certainly be a female. Hating women is ugly. Do better. But it’s a nice little primitive story. Reminds me of what a 4-year old would make up.
So I guess you don’t like the story? Or just my thoughts?
@@donfette5301 Organized religion is nonsense but you don't have to be a blockhead about it
beautifully told! thankyou!
He is lagging
Cats are absolute wonders with their athletic abilities
Lovely story telling. Thank you.
Nintendo switch new game

I have heard this story told many times. This was a very good telling of the story. Aho.
Damn hacker
0.76 fps nice
👨This fence is secure. 🐱This fence is not a problem.
Sina Bear Eagle, you did a great job, you are a very good story teller, with a beautiful voice! Thank you for share, I,m studying Lakota culture and appreciate so much that!
Beautiful story
*When it’s better quality than your animations*
At least you made sure it was 1 frame per second. Such fluid motion.
Glad we humans spent all that money on that fence
Hey Michael Jordan. Look at what I can do.
Jungle cat: Back in high school when I was state champion all four years, I used to pole vault 48 feet....without the pole...
Wow! That looks like a foot higher than an average door frame. Eight feet maybe? And in snow, what a verticals! Why did he pick the highest part of the fence? Show off? 🤣
So fast you can’t even see him for a second or two! Wow! Earth is flat I suppose!
Didn't even break a sweat. They can do 18 feet.
Fake clip.
I think this is a 3-page flip book.
Jumping that fence was nothing for the puma.
Able to leap a tall building with a single bound
Quality
Not long ago biologists working in adjacent Custer State Park ( right across the highway from Wind Cave) darted an elk from a helicopter as part of a study, said elk stumbled into the brush, and fell right in front of a mountain lion who thought ahh lunch! And began to dine, the chagrined biologists, had to find another elk!
But can he do the Fosbury Flop?
The cool thing is that he confidently chose the higher section.
Cat logic.
@@vudunof Same reason house flies land right back on the same spot you just violently swatted.
Or why cats prefer the box instead of the toy that came in the box😆
Yes, he was smart enough to know that spot had the thick, sturdy bar.
There’s wire on either side.
They said they can jump 18 feet vertically and 40 feet horizontal
@Tiny Home Nomads Just what I read more than once not saying it’s true research it yourself
@Tiny Home Nomads I just did a Google search and it says standing still they can jump 20 feet up a tree
Imagine being on your mountain bike doing about say I don't know 15 miles an hour and this cat jumps on your ass......????????
4 frames only
That was a short leap.
I really gotta get rid my of my dial up 56K modem....
Why is there a fence in the National Park?
It’s probably to keep them off the highway
To keep the bison off of private property.
Long? Or high jump?
