Rock on...
Standgas - Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht / silent night, holy night

The famous band "Standgas" performs a christmas classic to make the pre-christmas time even more kuschelig! This is a rare underground recording. Ends very unsatisfying!
It's such a joke that these people that aren't Molly Hatchet and did not write this music call themselves Molly Hatchet and play this music pretending to be Molly Hatchet, Molly Hatchet was Danny Joe Brown, Duane Rolland, Dave Hlubek, Steve Holland, Banner Thomas and Bruce Crump this is a tribute band this is NOT MOLLY HATCHET
he's definetely not as good as Danny Jo Brown!!!
Brilliant southern rock band we ain’t got anything like them here in England
Gee where the Black Knight gone?
These guys sound great, but no DJB, no Hatchet. No RVZ, no Skynyrd. Sorry.
I was there. Great Concert.
I think the lineup is-- Phil McCormick: vocals Bobby Ingram: lead and rhythm guitars Bryan Bassett: lead and rhythm guitars John Galvin: keyboards Andy McKinney: bass Mac Crawford: drums, percussion Original lead singer Danny Joe Brown was in the middle of recording “Devil’s Canyon” with the band when he fell ill from a stroke, and Phil McCormick stepped in and took over as vocalist, harmonica and all. McCormick sounded so much like DJB that it’s hard to tell who was who on the album’s cuts. A few years later, Bryan Bassett took off and joined Foghat and Dave Hlubek returned to Molly Hatchet and stayed in the lineup until he passed away at the age of 66. Bobby Ingram hasn’t even bothered to recruit a second guitarist. He believes in hogging up all the solos. Story goes that Bobby Ingram invited Bruce Crump back to Molly Hatchet, but as a hired musician. Crump told Ingram to go pound sand. I get it about the changes in any band’s lineup, but the Molly Hatchet of today is a travesty of the Molly Hatchet of the 1970s. One guitar? Really? Bobby Ingram, you can do better than that! And one more thing: why was Jimmy Elkins let go? He was a pretty good vocalist. This guy you got as singer is not cutting the mustard. Guess I’m going to have to watch the Molly Hatchet videos on RUclips to experience the real deal. I saw Molly Hatchet in 1993 at the Rocky Bayou Mullet Festival in Niceville, Florida when DJB was still singing in the band, and for two hours I was in Southern rock heaven. Joining him on bass that night was Buzzy Meekins. I’m never going to forget that night. It was fantastic. That’s the Molly Hatchet I’ll always remember and enjoy.
This is like a 20 year old hammer that the handle has been replaced 4 times, and the head replaced twice.
das is KEINE maxi sorry sondern STANDARD
Sounds good. Buts its worth a typical cover charge in the local bar because its a cover band…
Sadly all the original members died
This is not Molly Hatchet...
Still touring now and all band members are in heaven .Think they’re called Hatchet Job 😂😂😂😂
Not Danny Joe Brown Not Molly Hatchet. Case Closed
Who are these clowns I hope they aren't getting paid for this garbage How dare they
They knew what they were there for HELL YEAH BROTHER 👍
Tolles Lied, klasse Text.......👍🏻
Is that Don Dokken ?
Bobby's Hatchet cover band?
Wie recht er doch hatte
War der Peter seiner Zeit voraus Top Song
Pretty good tribute band.
Nnli h
Fucking cover band!!! They suck!!
Sou fã de Peter schilling
Amor essa música 😍❤️..🇧🇷
When DJB died so did Molly Hatchet
Phil was pretty good but I'd go anywhere just to see Dave play the guitar 🎸
You know I like all kinds of music Especially when Mr.Scillling came with Error in the system. I loved it and still to this day.
P. S. Bobby if you delete my message from before. Remember there's other sites I can go to. I'll tell the real story of how you because were you are with Molly Hatchet. And the truth behind the story of how the record company did Dave on the name of Molly Hatchet. I know the truth as I said before. I was there back then and know the truth behind it all. If it wasn't for what took place back then, you wouldn't be in the place you are now. There never would have been reason for you to be. This isn't that radio station interview you had that you had them hang up on me back then. This is the internet. The truth can still come out. I respect Dave to much to have you forget what he did for you. Are how you got were you are because of him. Think twice before you do something stupid. I can prove everything I have to say. Again as I said, ask Steve about me, he'll tell you I'm telling the truth. Sorry if I seem hard here, but the guys are all gone now but Steve. I won't allow you to forget what he did for you. You seem to do that and forget your place. You weren't Molly Hatchet to start with, only took the place Dave put you in . Which he did only for the band sake , no other reason. Which is why he taught you everything he knew to have you play like him. Oh I know , see , he himself told me about it. Never forget to respect him or those members before you. There wouldn't be a Molly Hatchet of it weren't for them.
Tell us something new. You act like all this shit is a secret. You say all this as if there usvsome horrible reason that you are holding back. Like Bobby is scared. Lol. You're right though, like all fans, this is an abomination.
Will Bobby, you have a ghost from the pass here. I know how you got to be with Hatchet. I've been friends with the original band members for years. Long before you came along. Ask Steve he'll tell you , I'm telling the truth. You apparently forgot how you came to be with Hatchet. Let me remind you. It was Dave who put you there. I also know the real reason why he left the band and how he put you in his place. See Bobby, I was around when Molly Hatchet signed their first contact , actually even long before then. I was around when Bruce join the band and Banner taught him how to play the drums , even before then. When Big Bob was playing in the band before he became their light man. Way back before they became famous. When they first started out on the bars here in Jacksonville. I'm a long time friend. I could tell you some stores. You were never apart of. So you maybe known for being with Hatchet now. Yes you've done good by the name I'll give you that. But you'll always play second best to the original members. No one , and I mean no one can ever take their place. Danny will always be the known singer for Hatchet , Dave the lead guitarist . ALWAYS. When people saw and heard the original members play , that's the band that will always be known as Molly Hatchet. You need to remember that. Something I think you forget at times. For it was because of Dave your were you are today. Never forget that or him. May he rest in peace. We miss you Danny and Dave. You will always be known Molly Hatchet. For it was you Dave who came up with the name. I remember you telling me the story behind it. Miss you both.
The later molly hatchet studio albums starting with lightning strikes twice with bobby ingram all kick ass.....as does this show.....and Battleground...
Without Danny Joe it's just a nice cover band.
Anyone notice Hughie Thomasson of the Outlaws in this video sitting in??
No, Hughie never played with Molly Hatchet. Second guitarist in a hat is Bryan Bassett, now is touring with Foghat.
Danny Joe BBBBB: IS THE ONLY VOICE FOR HATCHETT
This may not be the original Molly Hatchet but it totally rocks!!!hec yeah!
Totally!
you better know the true story of which named current hatchet
"you've now entered the twilight zone"
The instrumental ending is phenominal
It's sad who ever these imposters are. The real band are all dead.is there no shame.this should be removed our of respect for them and southern rock.
Early , actually there is one member left, that's Steve. He just doesn't want to be bothered anymore. But yes the rest is gone. I'm a very old friend of theirs. Thank you for knowing who the real Molly Hatchet and not forgetting them.
Great singer
He's unbelievable!
This is pathetic. Only thing this band has to do with Molly Hatchet is they're playing one of Molly Hatchet's tunes.
Miss ol Danny Joe
That's Not Molly Hatchet. That's Mostly Hackedit
This was/is not Molly Hatchet, this was/is nothing but a bunch of bullshit with a lead singer who sounds like he has a bunch of marbles in his mouth
I was there....awful...
Not even close, I've seen better tribute bands.
Worse than a bad tribute bar band. Nothing like the original. At least when Skynyrd restarted they had original members and Ronnie's Brother singing. This is worse than a poor mans imitation of Molly Hatchet. Maybe they should call themselves Poorly Matchet. Talentless........
the lead guitar is Dave Hubeck who I beleive, and i may be wrong, replaced Bobby Ingram (sp?) he was given the trademark with balessings from the band.
