I get it, ONCE! BTW, they have belt sanders for 40 or 50 dollars that have clamps so it dosen't bounce around on you. You can buy those things for 10 dollars and save the electricity and tools and glue and the like and volunteer your time building this helping those in need. God Bless brothers and sisters!!

That's a great idea. I'm making a trolley caddy bar diy using mixed media steel and wood, I just finished making a rough set of steel wheels that cold formed and then stick welded. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. In a few days I'll purchase some cheap fence paling as cladding and put a healthy coat of varnish over it. Here's a link with the steel wheels. Terrible idea to put cardboard behind any photo! It will create acid spots on the photo overtime. Always use acid free foam board and mats. Great idea with the custom built frame technique.

Love your video and simple method. Using the photo, cardboard and glass for the measurements makes it so much easier and almost fool proof. And showing how to use the speed square hole, I never thought to use that. Love the idea of using wood dust in the glue. Your thumb near the saw blade made me nervous, and as someone already mentioned, attach that sander to a clamp for safety and more ease of use. Another idea instead of using nails to set the photo/glass in place (which may fall out), use turnbuttons and screws. All in all, It's a nice looking frame and a simple build. I can't wait to make one for my painting.

a good trick for stain is put rusty nails in a tub of vinegar. use that

The way the end grain just swallows up as much oil as you can give it makes me weary of putting meats and poultry on there
