You can tell Jake was not only surprised by the Ozzy firing but was a little emotional about how the whole thing went down and he has a slight moment here in the beginning of this interview when he talks about it where you can see him holding back on how he really felt about that whole ending with Ozzy. I personally never bought an Ozzy album after Jake left and always thought Ozzy was second rate sellout rock music from that point on which he obviously became and still is to this day. Jake's Badlands stuff was way better to listen to and I bought both those Badlands albums and still follow Jake up to today with RDC.

Ray's voice was so perfect for the music they made n with jake leading the way with his insane playing man..... in my personal opinion their up there eith the best of the best! I have n love everything they put out n ill b playing it until i die!

Love Badlands!!! Always have... this was a cool gem of an interview. Little insight to the guys, cars, what kinda went into their recording technique. Good stuff, not too much out there on these guys.

Love eric singer but this guy jeff its more technical in both records voodoo highway and dusk! Eric its a hard rocker drummer.

All I can say is Red Dragon Cartel was such a beautiful surprise. After Sharon fucked him out of his songs he just disappeared after the Badlands , thank Eddie Trunk for bringing him back .

Jake E Lee’s Badlands is my second favorite band of all time, just behind the mighty Zeppelin… and that with only 3 albums. Their style just so totally resonates with me. Ray’s voice is in my top 4 greatest rock voices and Jake’s playing is in its truest form with this project.

My friend told me they pay 170 for Voodoo Highway vinyl...Propably not for my worn out one. Would not sell it anyway despite I have no functioning turntable . I might get back to it. And I will.⚒⚒🏴‍☠
