I know the night fright will miss the 80th anniversary of D-Day but it doesn’t matter she will be among many airworthy US skytrain’s and RAF Dakotas soon.

Quality of this project is mindblowing! Ive been following for a very long time and to see how close to showing Night-Fright and it's story off to the world must be an amazing feeling. That commemorative patch is pure genius!

Looks great! Ironic how much effort you put into the invasion strips considering the order to apply them came out just before the invasion, so they were haphazardly applied by the ground crew with whatever was handy, brushes, mops and probably rarely with a spray gun and masking.

AWESOME! Congratulations to the entire Night Fright crew on this accomplishment. I’m in the states so it’ll be a bit before I can see Night Fright up close, but when I finally make it out there I will absolutely be stopping to see her. She’s been my favorite restoration project to follow since I learned of her story in 2019. Again, congratulations to the entire crew!

Doing "Bridge too Far " Film a few years back in Holland was more authentic - different from these 'Brit accent' people in this movie....but we only had a dozen C-47's.....besides the big movie stars some of the older pilots actually flew in the battle....one was a P-51 American ace who still flew!

Wonderful update on Night Fright!.. Totally awesome history lesson of Membry Airfield and the 36 C-47 Skytrains That flown in the Night of Nights and the support missions afterwards.. Wow.. 100 bullet holes damage on the second mission! Says alot right there.. Thank you for this presentation. Cheers from Missouri USA.

Is the final colour going to have the rough finish that the paint did back then? I actually felt a C-46 door that was an original unused part when I worked at Air Manitoba. It did feel like coarse sandpaper. I guess Night Fright was still very new on June 6th.

Sad to say, the shipping from UK to Canada is a lot. About $41 so I have to pass, but I'll try to support somehow.

I can use coffee more than a t-shirt right now. Hope the bean growers are paid good since I only buy air trade. This goes to a good cause to.
