This is the bolt that has actually been recalled. Quick video on what it involves. It is not the lower shotgun, it is is a 1/4 20 bolt that's been snapping off possibly because a bad batch of bolts Harley Davidson used #heritagesoftail #harleydavidson

Thank you for watching this video i appreciate you
So the handlebars turn left to right okay without changing the brake and clutch lines?
@@Bkamaclean yes with this handle bar hight you dont need extensions thank you for watching this video I appreciate you
Nice Dodge!
Looking forward to seeing how long it lasts! Thanks for sharing
Cool every Sunday ? On telegraph canyon rd ? Until when ? Thanks

Great job on the f100 302 project. I'm doing the exact same project and would like to know what issues you may have had with motor mounts? Which did you use and do you have any advice? Thank you!
Thanks for watching this video I appreciate you .i got the mounts feom speedway motors very easy to install if you any questions message me
Thank you for all the information.
@@SPMiller thanks for watching this video I appreciate you if you can please suscribe to my channel I will really appreciate it
You didn't show the removal of the foot pegs 😔
Blower surge😂
Did you change the cables out?
Good job! Have to put new super stock springs under my old Demon. I thought I was the only one who still used my old wagon to move car part !!! Nice looking Polara 👍
i have various wagons lol with the SS springs on an A Body you will not need any spacers or adapters remove and reinstall easy as that thanks for watching this video i appreciate you
Did you use cable extenders for 12 inch bars? as I purchased the bar and thinking do we need to buy it or not?
@@AnchitIshpunyani no the extenders are not needed withthe 12 "bars thanks for watching this video I appreciate you
Did you ended up using the cable extensions?
@@davidcastellanos1749 no extenders needed for 12" bars thank you for watching this video I appreciate you
What did you do with the oxygen sensors from the stock exhaust when you put the eliminators on
@@mistermisters4854 those do not need to be touched just rhe slip ons got replaced thanks for watching this video I appreciate you
New Springs look nice, but I don’t like that. They extended your wheelbase by an inch. The old-school racers would decrease the wheelbase. I like the idea of moving the front spring forward an inch if it’s possible how did it affect your driveshaft length? Is it too short now? Nice car!
hey Joe thanks for chiming in, im going to drill the front brackets, that will move the springs forward, the drive shaft is fine, i also found a set of leaf spring axel relocation plates
@@GAMALA194 I like the idea of a longer spring, just like a longer ladder bar. It can give more energy and keep the same spring rate. Very cool 👍🏼
Did you have to de pin any wires to get them through the new bars?
@@craigsal i was able to do it without removing the conector. It took some time used plenty of patience. Thanks for watching this video I appreciate you
Very clear instructions and complete video. Got mine done after watching it. The dealer was asking £700 for it.
@@sritharsivalingam7337 thanks for watching this video I appreciate you
Nice video! My 1976 is leaking somewhere. Doesn't look like the main shaft. Very helpful. Thank you!
felicidades Mr Gamala
Thanks for the video. Nothing like seeing it done. How many miles did you have on the bike when you did the job? As you mentioned, the longer you wait, the harder it will be to get the originals off. Thanks again!

It is very easy😂 thanks for witching
BCM is Body Control Module
You have an extra cable coming from right side and a extra little black connector? I wanna say it's for heated grips but not sure
Thank you for the info. So I have 63 f100. Someone stole the radiator and the bolts. The radiator replacement I have, but I need the bolts. Where did you get the extras for your project? Or do you know the bolt size and threads-per-inch?
Did you end up having to use the extensions or no?
No i didn't have to the stick one are long enough
I think if you pull the main fuse before disconnecting any cables it might stop you from getting some diagnostic errors.
Thank you for watching this video I appreciate you
I like your solo seat. Gaurd bars and rack looks great.
Thank you for watching this video I appreciate you
Did you need longer brake and clutch cables?
That sounds great 👍🏻. What cam was in that?

@chumleye1112 thank you so much
you made it look easy I'm trying for 5 hrs to put a set on 08 Fatboy, maybe they sent me the wrong bars, I'm getten pissed off now, time for a break
you actually can hook them wrong. the connectors for the control modules and turn signals are the same. the thing to remember is the top of the module is the right hand controls in the bottom is the left hand.
I don't understand. I took my 2021 Heritage iin for the recall. I do have an aftermarket "Ultimate" seat. They told me the bolt only needs replacing if a new shock was installed for the purpose of raising or lowering the seat height. Is there some validity to this, or should I take it in again and demand an upgraded bolt?
Thats a new one there..... if you're bike calls for the recall then they should not question any thing. You should have received a notice from HD ALLREADY
I was responding to a written notice I had received from Harley. The more I think about it, the more I think I will return in the Spring and demand the upgraded bolt.
@@Digger456437 definitely better to be safe than sorry see you on the road and thank you for watching this video I appreciate you if you can please suscribe to my channel 😊
Had these on..Have to admit I thought they were a bit louder than I expected . Removed them a couple of weeks ago for a trip to Spain (Picos and Pyrenees ) due to requirements there . Honestly debating whether to put them back on. I love your Custom D lights and that's possibly next for me...and the fork deflectors to cut back the buffeting issue.
Yes the do get louder after a while I'm looking at others now. Even two into one.. thank you for watching this video I appreciate you
