I thought these headlights were a great way to upgrade my headlight assembly to something a bit more modern. Plus I also get the benefit of seeing better at night! These lights are so much brighter than my previous headlights. These have upgraded turn signals as well that will "hyper flash" or "hyper blinking" if left alone. This is an easy fix by also installing a relay under the dash.

The Jack wasn’t even all the way down 😂 Yes indeed you can go lower.
Hahaha!
Stop lowering your cars then and do it yourself you snowflake
it just a kiss :P
I agree, just a little peck.
I watched this 6x before realizing it was on a loop
Too funny, I appreciate the support!
You’re on bags bro… you can go as low as low can go! 😅
The lower the better!
We can always go lower
I'm going to have to agree!
What cat is that it is nice
Wrx maby awd
Hellcat
I think a tesla
LADA
Dacia sandero
Isn’t it easier to just take the cross-member off to have the transmission hang down a bit and just change it that way?
You can certainly do that if that works for you, I just found the process to be easier for me. Most definitely more than one way to change a shifter linkage U-Joint!
Hey man. I finished mine and now there’s knocking while driving, any idea?
After installing a new U-Joint you starting hearing a knocking sound while driving? Hmm, record under your car while you shift through the gears in the U-Joint area and see/hear where the knocking is coming from.
@@subearu no sound while shifting only when driving
Hey bud, did you ever this one out?
Did you have an inner snap ring?
Mine did not, but if you have one in your car then just take it out as well and you should be good to go!
Yeah you’ll need an impact driver for the cross member supports, buddy left that out in the begging and now I’m half way there and have to make another trip to the store..thanks
Hey there CCGDude, thank you for the comments! You really don't need an impact driver for this as I get a crossmember bolt out @1:13 with a wobble socket and wrench. If you're having a problem getting a bolt out, try using an extension on your wrench for more torque. Ah, the classic story of having to go to the parts store while in the middle of working on your car... The joys of modifying, good luck!
You notice when the police sirens was going how much faster the car went back into the garage. "just saying"
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Yeah you left out the green gun you’re using..
Oh my little Ryobi. It's not needed, it just made things go a little faster for me. It's still a 14mm socket.
@@subearu I can’t get it off even with my drill and pb blaster
Would you suggest doing the linkage and front and rear bushings at the same time?
I absolutely would! You're under the car in the same general area anyways, might as well get both out of the way if you're going to replace them.
Awesome video man!
Thank you, I appreciate that!
TOO many incorrect videos.... this one shows how to calibrate the tool and how to use it properly!
Thank you! It can be confusing but glad you enjoyed the video!
Really nice simple video thank you
Absolutely! I appreciate the comment.
You gave me some advice for sure... But Im inclined to to believe the top bubble is supposed to be centered... yours was not... I believe that bubble is supposed to be centered during adjustment and calibration for an "accurate" reading... correct me if im wrong... youve obviously used this more than me... even though I see no follow up videoes
Thanks for sharing subscribed
I appreciate that, thank you!
Top tier video, do you know the details of the wheels' color? Like what color and what kind of clear coat they have
Thank you, I appreciate that! The wheels are Enkei TS-10's in the color Gold. They also have a ceramic coating on them.
Nicely explained. It is the video that should be included when you buy the tool.
Did you have any issues with getting into the lower gears? 2/5/R? (Before install) I’m having issues getting into reverse and from what I’ve been able to read they say this is what needs to be replaced… I also have an 08 wrx
I don't really have any issues with the lower gears or any gears for that matter. I think this is definitely worth a try, it would be a pretty affordable fix if this is the issue. Good luck!
I use scrubbing bubbles foam cleaner from the bathroom. No shine but they are clean, xoxo
Nice way to get them clean before applying tire shine!
How do you not have more subs? Your video was awesome.
I'm working on it! I appreciate the feedback, thank you!
Sorry but shouldn't the camber also be done with the weight of the driver?
No need to be sorry, it's a good question. You'd really only see that in high profile/modified cars where the weight of the driver would make a larger difference. Alignments aren't done with driver weight either. If you'd like to set camber with the weight of the driver then also consider setting camber when you have a passenger as well or someone in the back seat(s). How about setting camber with a full tank and also a half tank of gas? Setting the camber and getting alignments with no driver weight is just the standard.
@@subearu Right, it depends a lot on the type of use you make of the vehicle. I also use my car on the track, so I set it with driver weight and around 25 liters of fuel. It is not a car used to carrying passengers 😂. However, you made a nice video guide, very precise and useful, especially for standard use of the car as you said.🤙
I love the sticker do you sell them?
I don't sell them but I got mine here: subiestickers.com/paw-print-emblem-overlays/
How is the beam pattern and light intensity with these? Bugeyes came with crap headlights from the factory. Upgraded the factory bulbs, then installed halogen Morettes and converted those to HID. Finally installed Circuit Demon Nightbreakers with top of the line HID bulbs. Night vision does NOT improve with age!
I agree, it certainly doesn't. Although, new lights can definitely help! I really like the aesthetic of the Circuit Demon Nightbreakers but I haven't seen them in person, so I can't tell how bright they really are. I put LED bulbs in to replace the halogen ones and night driving is great. Beam pattern is wide and has razor cut off, the light intensity is 6500K White so it's very bright. Hope this helps!
Such a pitty they don't have a Version for the Xenon equipped cars... would love to have them (any my wrx came with xenon headlights)
I know! I guess you'll just have to convert if you want this style 😆
@@subearu yeah, unfortunately that's not allowed over here in the cheese country 🇨🇭

Where is the air intake pipe from?
The past... It's from a company called APS. They are no longer around but you can still find their parts online, marketplace, ebay, etc... Most Cold Air Intakes work the same so you could install any brand like this one.
@@subearu I was looking for other intakes like this but none of them go in to the wheel well like that one, and i want it like that since changing the air intake isnt allowed in my country
Injen, AEM and Perrin have Cold Air Intakes that go into the fender like this one. Ebay probably has a generic version of these as well if you'd like a cheaper option. Good luck!

Best tool explanation on RUclips! Thanx man
Absolutely, I appreciate that!
I use sofu99 tire wax
I've never used that before, what do you think of it?
@subearu the wax last aprox 3 to 4 months , lots of soft99 products are great , you should try bilthamber no touch prewash v2 next its a ph12 soap that protects cleans and rust prevention
There's countless videos of EN beating golf R, but once you flash a stage 1 tune from whatever company, you're making like 60 more hp.
It doesn't take much to push more out of a Golf R!
Great video. Thanks!
Of course, glad you liked it!
Just did mine and no kidding it looked exactly like that, all dirty and black Jajaja glad I did it, cuz of Your🫵🏼 video I was motivated. Seeing how short and simple your videos made me see how simple it is. Can’t wait❗️to do more mods that you posted❕thank you keep it up Sir Subearu👏🏼 💯

Did you hear more noise or feel more vibration with this change ?
It was actually the opposite, I heard less noise and felt less vibrations.
Super curious those rims looks like 5x114 and a WRX is 5x100 by chance did you put extensions or did you change the whole thing for it to fit 5x114 just cuz those are STI rims and I wanna get them for mine also:P teje::3. and I wanna know to do it to my car also:)) if by chance those are STI rims on a STi car nvm then lmaoo hahaha
Hey bud! They're pretty similar to STi rim's right? They're actually Enkei TS-10's that are 5x100. Go get yourself some!
Love your content as a WRX 2007 owner myself and trying to mod my car myself , can you do an aluminum radiator? Thank you, I appreciate the feedback! Fantastic suggestion, I also need to upgrade my radiator to an all aluminum one. It's definitely going to make a difference in a hot environment. Good luck on all your mods!
