4014 left Durham Museum in Omaha, NE on 9-2-24. It crossed the Union Pacific Bridge over the Missouri River to get to Council Bluffs, IA.

Labor Day 2024 Big Boy 4014 steamed into Omaha, NE to the Durham Museum. 4014 came in on the tracks near the Amtrak platform. Then, 4014 had to switch tracks and back up to the museum. The freight cars were cut off and left at the museum. Big Boy was on display before moving to Council Bluffs, IA. I had front row access to the guys using the grease gun.

The morning of 9-2-24 4014 left Grand Island, NE for Omaha, NE. Big Boy had to wait for a westbound freight before they could leave. Several run by videos after Columbus, NE, before Fremont, NE, and leaving the Fremont area.

After a Wyoming storm comes the rainbow. East bound Union Pacific had perfect timing.

Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 left North Platte, NE headed for Grand Island, NE. It was hard to find roads to get around the pacers at times. There are Several run bus. In Grand Island 4014 stopped and waited to go into the yard. The yard was closed to the public.

Big Boy 4014 was in North Platte, NE for 2 days. It left to continue east on the Heartland of America tour. This video will show Big Boy backing up to couple up to the freight cars on their way out of town. Up close video shows 4014 pulling forward to pass a switch and then backing up. Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 was at the Bailey Yard for 2 days. The second day it was on display for the UP family event. Then it went forward for a short time to be in view from the Golden Spike Tower. 4014 then shoves back for the night.

Part 2 of the Big Boy 4014 prepping for their Heartland of America Tour. 4014 leaves the shop and couples up to the support cars, then the freight cars , and heads eastbound.

View of the Union Pacific Steam Shop in Cheyenne, WY on the morning of 8-28-24. Crew call was 5 am, and I began filming shortly after 6 am. The steam crew was performing various tasks. The crew finished some greasing, started the air pumps, consist brake test, and other jobs. Part 2 will show 4014 connecting the equipment and leaving the shop.

Came home from work and went immediately to the deck to see this Union Pacific Engineering Special passing by. Super quick view of this. All these cars are from the shop in Council Bluffs, IA.
