what other cheap alternative for the phanteks fans ?in my country 1 cost 64$
Silverstone Shark Force is underrated but also a bit pricey
@@user-ov5ot6bd8p wow its actually very cheaper but i did a quick math and its the same price as if i will get aio with better fans and fan grill and will have the 3.25 slot for gpu, not worth it after all :)
with your list can i put it on the 3.25 slot ??
Ah so the arctic still has the resonance issue. That's my main gripe rn, I don't need my fans to spin up that fast, but they often pass these resonance points when they do need to spin up and that bothers me immensely haha. Thanks for the review.
Do you have the link to the pcb by Pete Johanson by any chance? :) Is there any update to this?
Hello, do you know what the weight of this build is?
Hi! I'd like to know how to switch between two types of display modes.
Dude, try to mount this to your arms, so none of us have to be chained to the desk ever again
Poopy😊
Did you fill the loop from the cpu block?
Hi, which length of the M5 screws did you use for tenting?
hi Eiga, thank you so much for your video, your work is amazing. I was wondering if you can help me with a question of the anti sag bracket. I am hoping to print this myself using a local 3d printing service but I am not very technical. When you say I need 1x M3x5x4 threaded brass insert from the aliexpress link, can you please let me know what x5x4 mean? Does it mean OD 5MM size and 4MM length?
Such a baller build. This is exactly what i’m interested in for my next build. Now that 4k is much more standard it makes a lot more sense for me to start a new project.
Any updates on that clear resin version? I'd really like to do this myself, but am not sure how to go about doing this? Did you manage to fix the heavy clicks?
The clear resin build is more of a showpiece for me, but the easiest way to make it work is to use regular non-transparent FDM printed buttons (like black maybe), otherwise the feel will be off simply because of the different material properties. It won’t be fully transparent but I think it’s 80% of the effect for 20% of the work.
What plate material are you using here in the video?
I'm doing this build. 100 percent
I’m building a similar setup, but with AIO instead. I wonder what your PBO setting here is. 🙏🏾
I'm distracted by that sick lens element tattoo! I'm curious if that's the diagram for a specific lens?
Haha, thanks! It’s roughly based on a Leica Summicron 50 f2
Hey, are there stp files for the gpu travel and anti sag kit?
When full pneumatic water cooling build xD
I don't think I will be getting back in the T1 custom loop game for the foreseeable future. I will say though, the upcoming Modultra 4090 FE block is something that I'd love to try.
Can you make a tutorial on building? Would be great.
Left pinky: "am i a joke to you!?"
I know right, but do check out my TOTEM video. It finally fixed my touch typing.
what kind of termal pad you use and size inside and outside thanks
i have the same waterblock bullshit i i have beter result with standard colling rtx 3080 i regret put so much money and the the internal machining is of poor quality
What WiFi antenna did you use?
I don't use WiFi, but I did read about issues with the included WiFi card on the ASUS B650E-I.
@@EIGAtech do you know of any good ones for Itx because I was looking at optimum tech’s T1 videos and he did not name it. I’m just looking for something that won’t stick out from the back.
@@palps797 I haven't looked into it at all, sorry. Maybe ask around on the SFF Hub Discord server?
I did the same build but with an AIO. The CPU temp was fine but the 4090 FE temp crossed 85C. I gave up and moved to a larger case AP201. GPU temp dropped to 60C on 100% load. I loved the T1 but best with 4080 and below GPUs
62 w
Hey. What PBO settings for CPU you run with that cooler?
Only a negative per core CO, nothing else.
@@EIGAtech well, must admit it holds it very well then.
How are temps in other tasks like rendering?
What kind of rendering? Davinci Resolve Studio is using the GPU when exporting video projects, this video for example took around 5 minutes to export. 3D renders in Fusion 360 is the only use case I have that will have the CPU instantly hit the thermal ceiling and start reducing boost clocks, but there's other (better) software out there that support GPU acceleration which is orders of magnitude faster anyway.
@@EIGAtech I was more so asking how the cpu fairs in worst case scenarios. I been tossing up over whether to go with this solution or a 240mm aio
@@haven216 If you have a specific use case in mind I can do a quick test, but my use cases don't involve any heavy duty CPU workloads, and for gaming the AXP-90 x47 Full Copper performs perfectly.
This is the best Formd T1 build i have seen till now. You should do a build guide video !!!!
I really hope he does a detailed build guide video on this. So many people would love to build an air cooled T1 exactly like this to avoid the complexities and maintenance problems of going with a custom loop.
Maybe a basic question but how do you clip the noctua fan to the thermalright CPU? The clips that come with the CPU are too short for the longer fan. What kinds of clips/connection can be used instead?
Hey awesome video, thanks for all of those information. Is it possible to get you fan curves please ? Thanks a lot
Hey! You can find them on the SFF Hub Discord server, here's a link: discord.com/channels/1205855714355183686/1205855714795593772/1235998854562713702
@@EIGAtech thanks a lot !
Everybody doing a FormD T1 build, why are you copying me? 🤣 NO! I'm copying you.
Is there any difference between the AF-9 vs the stock fan?
Roughly how long does it take to print the pegs for the noctua duct system?
The pegs are tiny, it takes a couple of minutes at most.
How are you getting such good temperatures with your CPU? I have this exact same build and I am consistently over 80 degrees C under gaming load. I am at a -30curve with PBO limit of 80W and a thermal throttle limit at 85c. I have tuned off intergraded graphics and it does not help with temps. I can not find anyway to lower the temps, any help?
One thing that comes to mind is that you may have not tightened down the x47 fully. I use the short thumb screws together with the stock AM5 backplate and tighten the nuts (with the included thumb driver) until the tip of the screw is nearly flush with the surface of the nut. If it's not that than you'd need to tell me more about the exact game and settings.
I will never understand people spending all this money on ergonomic niche keyboards only to use like 6 fingers... Aint the purpose of ortholinear is to have a column for a specific finger?
It’s hard to to break lifelong muscle memory. The Corne helped me improve but the TOTEM is what really made it click for me. I recommend this newer video: m.ruclips.net/video/YwsutNf1WRA/видео.html
Great builds! Question regarding the ball - do you have to hover your right thumb when typing and not using the ball? Does the ball get in the way of right hand?
@EIGA, When you say CO tuned for your 7950X3D, do you mean that you only put a negative offset on your curve, or did you also mean that you modified PPT/ EDC / TDC limits as well? Thanks!!
Just per core negative curve optimizer. I don't touch limits.
Phanteks T30's all seem to be out of stock in my area. Could you recommend a suitable alternative for this case please? Also, what's the impact of removing the fan grill from the Corsair PSU? The best SFX PSU I can source doesn't have a removable fan grill. Thanks!
Hi! There is no reason to remove the PSU fan grill, it's something I did for a previous build. As for T30s alternatives, the Noctua NF-A12x25 is the way to go.
@@EIGAtech Ok thanks, assuming it would fit is there any point in getting the heatsink version of the Samsung 990 Pro?
@@MDL.720 The motherboard has its own heatsink for front mounted NVME drives.
Thanks to your vid, I think I'm comfortable going this route for my move from full tower to a FormD T1 case. I wanted to use the phanteks evolv shift xt initially, but this would be slimmer and more modular. Spending on a 240mm AIO, and routing tubes, seems too compromising and expensive. The only difference is that I have a 3090 FE, which has me unsure(wishing) the travel kit would work, along with the phantesk 850sfx. I'll be looking into getting a 14600k(getting different ram of course) and learning to undervolt both.
There’s a handwired version with repurposed sensor??
For the top hat part, are the fan suppose to be on top the rad? And what material was used?
The top hat was a prototype I received from FormD, not sure on the material. Fans can go either on top of the radiator or underneath. I recommend watching the video for my newest build in the T1 here: ruclips.net/video/JCir0s7cRfk/видео.html
Minimum quantity for PCB is 5, does this mean It will give you 5 set of PCB or 5 piece of pcb?
Five sets
is there any bracket for the asus proart 4080
There will be, but it is unreleased for now.
@@EIGAtech i saw an untested one is that one oke ?
@@Sabakoe737 Well, it's untested. But if you try it do let me know.
Completely new to custom keyboards, so sorry for the noob question. But how do you reach the second layer at 9:05? What do you need to press?
You press on the corresponding layer key, in this particular case it's the rightmost key on the left half thumb cluster.
I figured that from the image. But it also says "Right click". How can it be both?
will the exhaust shroud work on the v2.5?
I'm not sure
@EIGAtech I got my shroud printed, once my gou comes in imma build it and keep you posted!

hello)) noctua l9a is much worse? (I saw the tests, the temperature difference between Thermalright and Noctua is not very big).
