@@chijaylifestyle that plate only works with the EPS. If you haven’t bought the optic, the EPS is same size window and if you buy both from us, you will save on the package deal.

@@cameronedgar4111 one of the many functions the DOGTAG offers. It can also act as an action point to one hand manipulate the slide instead of using the optic. Particularly for the M&P it will also deflect the carbon that comes out of the loaded chamber indicator away from the front of the optic. Usually on the M&P the optic is covered in carbon buildup after a few magazines.

@@jus_jun we designed this plate based around the M&P polymer with optics ready iron sights. If you do a thin adapter the co witness becomes so tall it’s almost absolute with the taller sights from smith. Making the plate thicker also allows for us to bring the optic back away from the LCI therefore making it an optic plate not an adapter. Even if it was thin it still would not co witness with say the carry comp or metal iron sights and allow for the DOGTAG to be sturdy enough for single hand manipulation. So if we make the plate to accommodate the OEM optics ready and to support aftermarket sights like Ameriglo SW809 and night Fision optics ready stealth 311-402, that’s the best for most combinations.

@calculatedkinetics4026 that makes sense! I appreciate the explanation. I actually got it for my carry comp, and I do love it. I just wasn't sure since the carry comp already has a clear sight lci if the added deflection /thickness would make a difference or not. Keep up the awesome work!

@@jacobynfante9689 for the rear and Glock tool will work. For the front, Delrin or brass punches. Let some oil soak on the front for about an hour then go to town.

@@KyleMarston-w6z it’s an optic plate meaning the plate gets secured to the slide and the optic secures to the plate. The optic physically can’t line up with the holes in the gun. It’s a gun manufacturing problem. Use the screws in the clear bag to mount the plate to the gun and the screws in the blue bag to mount the Holosun

@ no you’re not! It’s very deceiving when you go to install it and it looks like something is wrong and it’s just the design of the gun. They did however correct it with the TTI.

@@Project_1868 the DOGTAG IS will be for models where when you remove the optic plate cover and the irons come off with it we will incorporate rear iron sights into our DOGTAG. Right now we’re not sure on price because this is the first one we have done like this. What model do you have and what optic are you trying to mount to it?

@ a tp9sfx and a green bomber Mete although I don’t think I really need back up irons. If the dot fails I’m not sure my brain will say “find front and rear irons” or just index and shoot. I don’t really use my rear sight even on non dot guns but I’ve been shooting for work since 1991. I don’t know but I like new products from small American businesses.

@@jason200912 that video was a different style of screw and was based off overall length. We now have correct head screws and if you’re running the included adapter from Holosun and to have a 1/2mm clearance from the extractor a 10.2mm will work great for both sides. The non extractor side can go a little longer but they don’t tap the slides to the same length as we have found out so we recommend the 10.2mm long on both sides.

@calculatedkinetics4026 thank God. I got one when I ordered the 26gen5MOS slide. But I've got the SCS-M-GR on it, and it requires no batteries. So I'll stick with it for edc. The Kraken will be great for the 19c I'm building to plink with.

@@warbonnett1 we include a deflection table in the front of the optic plate to be able to deflect any carbon from blow back and for 1 hand manipulation on the plate vs the optic. It actually stands for Direction Of General Tangential Ablative Gasses, DOGTAG.

@@rottdad775 the 45 and 10mm take a different plate system and the slides on the larger calibers are wider. Since our plates hug the slide, it unfortunately is not compatible with anything other than the 9mm.

@ we don’t offer slide cuts, but that is something many people do. You would just need your slide milled for a RMR Footprint and I recommend these guys- swprecisionarms.com/optic-cut-on-glock/

@@gangsterpranksters3724 EPS because my experience with the optic has been better. I’ve had zero issues personally with an EPS and the Romeo pro I have had a problem with 2 of them. Plus the window size on the EPS is bigger and wider.

@@gangsterpranksters3724 absolutely not. The screws are only providing downward pressure and receiving minimal if any lateral pressure on both sets of screws. Additionally the optic sits up against the DOGTAG in the front, on the recoil lugs, and on this plate, a rear bumper.

@@bg4214 any delta point pro plate will work. To incorporate the DOGTAG we have to bring the optic back so that the DOGTAG can come in front of the optic and up, because of this it is an actual optic plate. Plate is secured to the slide and optic to the plate. I encourage you to view our video, not short, where we go in depth about this topic.

@@calculatedkinetics4026 super helpful thank you. How has the scs 320 held up over time on the m&p? Do you recommend it over an EPS or other variant?

@ we only ran through it will about 800 rounds. The combo is great. The EPS is also a great option. I think really what it boils down to is which one you think looks better because they both are very similar.

@@vicm7052 unfortunately only the GL455s. The 456s will put it right in a lower 1/3rd and 455s are a lower 1/5th. I misspoke on the GL455 video when I said 1/3rd, it’s definitely a lower 1/5th.
