Whilst this looks good, kneading the bulgur wheat and handling all the ingredients with the huge rings on and potentially the hidden germs in it is grim. Take your rimgs off as hidden germs can be very dangerous 🤮

Louella, hello from a fellow Greek Cypriot. Just listening to you and watching this video brought back so many memories. In 1950s when I was growing up we were one of the few families who had a car in Nicosia. Some of the things you mention ring a bell and some don’t. It is only recently that I realised how many differences we had from north to south, east to west. I am not a nationalist, not pro this or that nationality but all these nationalities bring such a variety of customs and experiences. Your video is a jewel, you have a zest for life which I lack and is a delightful cooking vessel. Thank you 🌷🇬🇧🇨🇾🌷 Maria

Hi and thanks for providing a recipe for this. Like you I’ve been searching for ages. I followed your recipe to the ml & g. It’s very close to triantafilo as I remember it, but I found it to be a bit too sweet for me personally. So I put less of this more of that, replaced some of such with a bit of such, popped the sorbet paddle into the machine dropped it all in the machine, 60 mins later booom! Triantafilo! It was beautiful! Not too sweet, the colour is right and it holds together perfectly. Thanks soo much for a basic recipe to tweak to my taste
