Visit SOS Donkey Haven on Route 66!
SOS Donkey Haven is located on Route 66 right outside of Kingman in Golden Valley Arizona. This is a refuge for Oatman donkeys and many of the wild donkeys that need help within Mohave County.
You can stop by to visit, pet and feed several donkeys that are taken care of here on the property, this is a great day trip to explore with family.
Oatman is well known for their donkeys, you can find Walter the Mayor of Oatman here on occasion when his adopted family are out of town. His mother Nadine, his grandmother Destiny and great grandmother Dusty are all here full time on the property!
Erin and her family have worked in Oatman for many years and rescued their first donkeys Sedona and Scruffy...

befor they moved it they had way bigger animals That's when Elvis the tiger was there and they had a big big big Line i Swear to God them, things are Beast in person. Yeah there is no messing around with them i bought a 50bmg and an elephant rifle just in cause they ever got out again
Amazing animals, and ya it was pretty up close and personal-if this was in the wild Chad would be lunch 😅
I went there years ago with my father-in-law and mother-in-law and my son. It was really nice. I was a little expensive but I understand they have a lot of animals to feed and carnivores are not cheap to feed.

@@mohavemortgage it was the last no the last memory I have of him. It was right before he started to slip into oblivion from cancer, but we had a great day that day it was cold. I think it was February beautiful the coats on the walls were glistening in the cold him, and I sat by the walls while the girls went and explored the Rest of the park
