A shame we don't get Overture here as an intro before the Prologue. Otherwise, great game.

Just finished a playthrough of this today. I can't recall my exact completion time as I didn't really pay much attention to it. But, it was a bit over 4 hours and 30 minutes. with around 85% completion on the map. My last save before fighting the queen metroid was at 4 hours and 29 minutes with 84% completion. Sometime in the future, I'll have to see if I can do better. I love this remake.

Confused on where the last 5 Metroid are. I just beat the ship boss on top, still can’t go down the chasm that is next to the water area. I assume those metroid are needed but where are they? No idea

The best part is that if the ship is in orbit over Earth then they'd probably die from re-entry/impact rather than floating off into the nothing

Damn this looks great. Reminds me a ton of Axiom Verge, which obviously was inspired by Metroid, but just the animation and art style, and how fluid it is. The devs really made sure to put a ton of love and care into this project.

So I’m playing through this on my steam deck and using you as a “am I going the right way” guide. It cracks me up that we are doing the same damn things. “Ooo I pop five bombs when charged! Lemme do that a few more times!” Lol

For any Mac users out there you can use Whisky or Crossover to get this to work on Mac. I have it up and running with no issues other than needing a controller, haha. The keys work fine it just feels weird.

This fan made game is awesome sauce. If I was in charge of Nintendo as a whole, I'll hire these fans and turn their fan made games to become actually Nintendo brand games for everyone and anyone to purchase and play these awesome games.

The original game was piss poor. This remake showed what it could have been. Nowadays, Nintendo couldn’t make a fun 2D Metroid to save their lives
