I inherited an Akubra.. i am trying to increase a 57 to 58z. So I Jsut stretch it out to as far as I can or do I do it in small Increments? If in small increments- how long does it have to be left in the stretcher before stretching more?

Omg first time your caught in a torrential down pour or storm your thankful hats oil skin 2 iv used mine to kneel on to start fires used rolled up ones for a pillow IV laid it down and slept on it to keep dry from the wet ground IV done it vice versa using it as a blanket cold camping sooo many uses IV used it to drag fire wood before They really really keep wind snow and rain out worth every cent I normally wear a wool fleece under it so if I get to hot I can just take that off and use the slicker as a shell there's also a flask of 150 %ever clear grain alcahol in the inside pocket it has a myriad of uses fire starter medical. Antiseptic heat if your chilled sanitasation pain reliever etc etc where I'm from the environment is pretty unforgiving a simple boo boo can cost u your life if your woefully Ill equipped

Its possible to resole the Sole ?

I have 1910. Out of the box, they are very beautiful. But they scratch and the scratches are very noticeable on this luxurious color. Too bad. They also get wet and lose their color immediately after that. The company replaced them for me under warranty after the first rain I got caught in. The branded moisture protection did not help. But out of the box, they are very beautiful. I am not sure I would buy suede again.
