Minimum tamping force (kg)

starting from 8 kg we can see that maximum puck density Is already achived. I would say that force above 15 kg Is unnecessary and Will cause only strain.

With valve open so as to prevent vacuum. Remove tube tube upward with rotating motion. aThis will prevent grounds to stick on tube. invert the lower part on a paper towel. Wait about 10 secs. This will let water to go down and dislodge the paper from the bottom part. Remove the bottom part. Ground will fal as one piece with paper filter. Discard.

Is there a separate tube leading to the drip tray on the Airbuster?
Is it the airbuster from coffee sensor ? Is it easy too install ? Really Nice machine, kind of my dream one.
Can you do this with the shower screen seal already in?
Non so come mai il mio caffè non viene mai con una bella crema, fatico a trovare la giusta macina e grammatura....viene sempre un caffè diverso, anche tra il primo e un secondo c'è molta differenza, mi sa dare qualche suggerimento?
cool T-shirt
Hi, i have the same espresso machine but i dont have the crema like you what basket do you use ?
Cool idea, thanks for demonstrating

Noticed you’re using a pre-mill group on a post-mill base. Do you prefer the smaller group?
终于更新啦❤🎉
Hola, me pudiera ayudar, dónde puedo comprar repuesto de esa maquina
How does the taste compare to the Faema baby? Do you have a preference?
Hi Man, can u please share the details of the special tool required for the nut removal? I cannot remove the nut with a normal spanner.

1:32 halo sir faema 58mm ?
Brilliant..! I’m with the other poster here: is there a parts list we can work with…?
If anyone is listening…. Okay.. I think I can get the T piece from an auto store… The switch is in the catalogue of a coffee machine parts supplier, as is a pstat tube and pstat.. nobody has eveything, but those bits are available.. on the pstat, what is a safe working pressure for the boiler…? Connecting the pstat tube to the T piece is another matter.. maybe the auto store…….
sir you’re a genius. Thank you
Quanti gr di caffè per una tazzina?
Per filtro oem puo fare 13g max. Per bottomless pf possiamo usare filtri piy capienti.
Thank you very much ! Excellent tutorial.
All of this mechanical work makes me not want to buy a La Pavoni.
lol i wish i saw this method before I tried to remove the stupid plastic sleeve out of my brand new machine with the tool using only hand pressure. ended up chipping the plastic notches and having to break out the sleeve with a chisel to replace with the metal piece
Saw your videos po sa Coffee Home Brewers group. Grabe solid! I'm new to espresso po and really fascinated sa mga antique espresso machines especially sa mga lever ones. Makes me wonder if seller kayo dahil sa dami or sadyang matinik na collector lang talaga 😍
Hello Bong and thx for this great video. Could you please explain why there must be clesrence of 0.5 to 0.8 between the piston and the shower screen? Don't you limit the maximum amount of water that could be pushed through the puck this way? I know it's only a small amount but why not make the piston touch the shower screen ever so slightly?
Just a safety clearance so that the piston will not push down the shower screen out. This space (0.5mm) will sacrifice about 0.75ml on output which is almost negligible.
Where did you get that tamper to fit La Pavoni porta filter, the smaller I seen is for 58mm. Apprécier tout helo.
Nice LP from the 70’s ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much, nice trick !
So clear, thank you!
this is a great idea! were did you get the glas/ plastic jars?
If I put 16g of beans in my portafilter, I cannot fit it on the group head. Should I adjust my shower screen like this? Up 2mm?
Would this using the pully caff solution affect the lube inside of the group head? I am thinking of the gaskets on the piston specially for example.
We don't need to do this every day. Molykote 111 has high resistance to water washout. We can relube easily by removing the screen and qith lever up we can lube the chamber inside wall.
Genius thank you sir
Very Nice!
Great job! How have you managed to cut the external enclosure?
With hack saw.drilled holes on both ends. File to to finish.
You have also to put teflon washers
Will this work with a Bunsen burner? What’s the temp difference
I don't know the exact temp. We only need to melt the hardened oil gunk that blocks the spout. No need to be red hot.
@@rueljuachon4374 thanks for the reply! I just got a pressure gauge but my spout is extremely tight. I'm going to take it to the lab tomorrow and try the bunsen burner. I see it's about 1000 C cooler than your blow torch.
What is that thing you put on top of the filter basket during the brew? Where did you get it?
Nice
Nice
Brilliant
Does your dog agree when you take his bowl to make ristretto ? 🤣🙂
Good to see the "open up - open down" on the piston!
... ma il bicchiere di vetro è un crimine!
I liked it because his name is Bong
I was looking at an alternate drip head prototype initiated by Coffeehaus several months ago. I do not own a MM, but have considered purchasing one many times. Here's a link to their solution to the stock MM's water distribution problem... ruclips.net/video/MMUVouP62mc/видео.html
Yes. I saw that. As for my observation. Gabi Master B dripper gives an even and more distributed drips regardless of pulsating /irregular drips from arm.
Yeah, Coffeehaus is still not shipping their version. I ordered one back in March 2023.
Very smart! Did you 3-D print this?
No. Found it at alixxprss... trimmed some parts like the slot on top. Works great . Water drips ate evenly distributed.
Like a bigger Melodrip, that is used for pourovers. It's a great idea. I did get the upgraded spout from Moccamaster, but have yet to try it out.
@@BrucePappas this already has i think the 9 holes arm.
