These were some fantastic ghost board game facts. Especially the Ouija board info! Summon spirits while playing the Game of Life - hilarious. And it looks like there are a few Goosebumps themed board games! News to me. My kids would love to play these.

@@GameLikeAMother I think there are 7 in total, though I could be wrong since one of them is Clue with a Goosebumps theme. I personally own 3: 'Terror In the Graveyard', 'A Night In Terror Tower', and 'One Day at HorrorLand'. Your kids probably would love to play them, but some are rare and hard to come by due to being over 20 years old.

Oh wow, I saw maybe four different versions on Amazon. 20 years old! Mostly I’m just sad that I missed so many of these when I was a kid. There were good games out there but they were hard to find. I love the internet - it’s made it so much easier to find games like this.

I’m on a hiatus from filming right now but I looked it up and it sounds like a great little card game. There’s even a Paw Patrol themed Junior version. If I start up filming again I’ll definitely go check it out.

I’m so glad this was helpful! Yes, I really enjoy Scout but Reign of Dragoness is similar and has a number of advantages when it comes to getting it to the table.

Yes, he could maybe hang in there and play this on a team but it’s probably a bit too much to handle on his own until he’s 5. Outfoxed might be a good option though, 100% of kids like it and a 4 year old who is used to board games could probably handle it just fine. Dragomino and My First Carcassonne are stellar choices!

It does seem like it would be right up your alley - nice theme, artwork, gameplay. It’s still one of our family favorites!

Yes, you’re supposed to shuffle the cards when you’re ready for a “real” game. But the cards are numbered if you look closely. You can put them back in order and play the tutorial!

It’s pretty excellent - clearly geared for kids but I can’t think of any other games that fit this niche. It’s been one of our go-to choices for my 9 year old and 5 year old ever since we got it. Definitely worth checking out!

Yes, isn’t it nice when a themed version of a game is more than a reskin? I’m not a huge marvel fan in general but I really like these versions. Take care of those cockatoos and we’ll take care of games at the beach 😁 I don’t have Tides though - missed opportunity!

Oh I’m so glad to hear this! It’s really unique to find a roll and write that works for such a young age. We have so many games but this is becoming one of our most-played because my youngest two kids enjoy it so much. I hope it’s well-loved in your house!

They also have the 4 normal versions on valve steam and are very good!

I’m glad you enjoyed this video! I absolutely agree with you about it being a gold standard among 2 player games. That said - I should let you know I’m going on a bit of a hiatus from filming for a while. I have a bunch of Dice Tower videos that I’ll still need to uploading for the next few months but I’m going back to school to get my masters so I’m stepping back from the board game channel for a bit. We’ll see what happens in the future - I’m still playing loads of games! But it has been really fun to focus on some of our favorites. We played a family game of Qwixx on Mother’s Day and we had never actually done that with all of the kids before. It was so much fun ❤️

Hah, glad it was a good video. I know, I usually don’t do jokes making fun of a group but even Americans enjoy this specific genre of jokes. And this game is for kids but really it reminds me of something you would do as a parent to prep for delivery of Mother’s Day breakfast in bed or something. It has the same set of skills to utilize 😆

It’s actually a bit short at times if you’re playing with a larger group. I think the key bit here is this is NOT a game for adults. Annoying noises don’t seem to faze the kids! 😁

I know, Red7 is such a good game, I really wish it did a better job of grabbing people from the get-go. Although I grew up on standard card games so any time there’s a specialty deck of any sort I’m dazzled 😁

In regular tic-tac-toe the game is over as soon as someone has three in a row, even if the other person would win on the next move. So it’s definitely the same deal here. That said, I think it’s a lot of fun to play around with rules and make up your own fun house rules. So if you would like to try a longer version of the game, have at it 😊

I haven’t played Nimalia yet! And it’s interesting - Lost Seas looks exactly like Downtown Farmer’s Market. I wonder if it’s the same game with a different theme. It’s by the same game publisher so it’s not too unlikely.
