    Hi, all the videos were very helpful. Thank you. When I watched your video, after importing the model, I hide only the eyelashes in Zbrush, edited the eye shape, and then showed it again, the eyelashes also seemed to move according to the eye shape position. Can I ask how you did it? I don't know if I need to set another shortcut or another option. I think I'm using selectrect, but I'm not sure how to do it exactly. When I selectrect around the eye, the eyelashes are not hidden. When I hide only the eyelashes, edit the eye shape, and then show it again, the eyelash position and shape are kept the same.

      @@UKARI-V4 Hello there, thank you for your interest in my videos. I’m afraid I don’t quite understand your issue. I know it can be difficult to communicate through RUclips comments as you cannot post images to further describe your issue. If you contact me through my Artstation page, I can try to assist you directly in more detail. If you’re wondering how the eyelashes move with the eye expressions, you will need to use the Facial Profile editor to make those adjustments. If you are looking to hide the eyelashes altogether, you will need to assign an opacity map to the eyelashes altogether material or dial down the opacity of that material. I apologize if this does not address your issue.

    Hello, at the start you tweaking the mesh by the bones scaling, is it recommended workflow? Could it cause some bad artefacts later, in game engine for exabple?

    • @MythconsLab
      @MythconsLab 3 месяца назад

      @@ArcticArmBoy Hello there, yes, the proportional scaling adjustments are a great way to get your character into your desired proportions before working on the mesh. It’s kind of the reverse of the usual workflow, but it works. Instead of adjusting the bones to fit the shape, you are moving the shape along with the bones. It doesn’t impact the final result negatively.

    HI there, Great Demo. I didn't notice you say anything about the eyes. Do you have to keep them perfectly spherical? Also When you scaled up the whole Body I did not see the eyes in there did you adjust that later? I am wonder what the rules for the eyes are as they don't seem to come in to Character creator correctly for me.

    • @MythconsLab
      @MythconsLab 3 месяца назад

      Hi there, sorry for the late reply. You don't necessarily have to keep the eyes spherical, but you'd have to compensate for their shape when adjusting the expressions. For most cases you'd want to keep the eyes spherical. I will have to look through the video again (my memory is bad), but in general I try to keep the eyes in the correct place. You can adjust anything later, and if you you need to, you can also generate replacement eyes. Just make sure the bones are aligned to the eye sockets. You can further adjust the placement of the eyes in the proportion editor (or adjust the mesh itself, then align bones to the mesh).

    • @Stollnation
      @Stollnation 3 месяца назад

      @@MythconsLab Thank you. I had not tried the proportion editor and that solved some of my problems. Some characters have squished eyes and that requires some type of lattice deformer. So far I think you have to keep it spherical. Do you know what the rules are for selling Hades or some personal Ip made this way on other platforms like attestation, cgtrader. CC Marketplace seems obvious.

      @@aliraza-ux1ww Greetings, I’m not an animator, so my guidance is limited in this area. I would highly recommend iClone (and of course Character Creator for customizing your avatars). The props and characters you choose depend on your project needs. Go to the Content Store and have a look around at what piques your interest. That said, the animations found in the ActorCore store are always amazing and easy to customize. Make sure you take a look at what’s on sale to take advantage of combo packs when you can. They’ll often bundle a ton of interesting content that would otherwise be a little pricey if bought normally. One of the benefits of Reallusion’s 3D suite is that it interfaces extremely well with Blender, so you have the option of animating in either software. Check out the CC / IC Blender Pipeline add-on, it’s free and has lots of options and features for importing / exporting and animating iClone and Character Creator content. I hope this helps a little.

      Hey there, good luck on your studies. My work flow is pretty basic, but it depends on what I'm creating. I mostly work in Blender when I'm creating assets, and either Zbrush or Blender if I'm modifying a Character Creator mesh. For texturing, I usually use 3D-Coat, but Blender and InstaMAT also have a place in my workflow. As for inspirations, that's a difficult question. I'm kind of all over the place with where I get my inspirations from. For the Hades project, I just used the Disney Character design. As long as its unique and stylized, I'm inspired.

      I will tell you why I was so excited to see that Proportion Edit exists in Blender: Proportional Editing! (In this case, child bones change with the parent.) I don't think that is possible in CC4...is it? Plus, I find Blender's UI easier and faster to work with, but that's subjective.
