Wildlife Walks with CountryGent
Великобритания
Добавлен 8 сен 2017
A true nature boy, having been hooked from an early age. A keen photographer, migrating to video a few years back.
In this series of Wildlife Walks, we will be exploring, and taking in the flora & fauna of the Great British Countryside. Most of the walks will be here, in the county of Suffolk, but also venturing to other parts of the UK. So make sure you subscribe, there will be plenty of surprises, and some great Wildlife and Countryside to share with you.
I will try to have 1-2 new videos a month, so please be patient.
You need only subscribe if you have a keen interest in my channel, and enjoy the videos. I don't do 'sub for sub', I see no point to that! But I will always check out your channel, and subscribe if it is of interest to me.
Cheers all-

At Home with CountryGent

The front garden is always active, day & night. Birds and plenty of insect life during the day, and nightime animals and creatures. This is the second time, at least, a newborn Munjac has taken up home in the front hedges.

A wander across my local patch, the Barn Owl put in an appearance whilst dog walking. A late, but bright December afternoon across the meadows.

A wander across my local patch to check on the Trail Camera. Been set up for around 3 month in a small woodland and checked every 3-4 days. It has been tripped over a thousand times, but the best of the action is in the following video, part 2. Thanks for watching. CG.

6-7 Fallow Deer decided to raid the sweetcorn in the early hours. Hope they enjoyed them! Taken with the Browning Recon Force Trail Camera.

Lackford Lakes (Suffolk Wildlife Trust)
Very nice.
Been there twice. Not far there's Saxon village. Very nice.
That’s a great capture! We see them around our lantanas. They are fun to watch.
Awesome catch! 👍👍
What country are you in?
great video. Thank you sir
So I find pictures from permanently mounted wildlife cameras just boring, even if the quality of the pictures is getting better, they still remain still pictures.
Wonderful!
Just wow!
Great capture of the wildlife day and night 👍😻👍
Great capture
I learned alot about birds from your videos. Fascinating stuff.. please do some more soon!
Hey Mate,, I am hoping you are going to do some more of these as lockdown means my walks are mostly virtual. Any around Brockley or Hartest please!!!
just found you,, I love anything to do with Suffolk as my nan was from Bures st Mary and I spend as much time as I can around the Sudbury area. I had ancestors from Hartest and Brockley too and can see from the map this isnt too far from there.
My dad used to farm that land you were walking on
Really nice walk I used to live in chevington, broad green farm behind the greyhound pub
This was fantastic, nice one!!!
That was an exellent video, thank you for it. Happy new year

It is amazing what lies beneath a gardens outer shell .. This was lovely !!
Many thanks to you🤗
Lovely film mate! You're clearly a guy with the same interests as me. A friend and I are planning our first visit to Lackford in a few weeks to shoot some footage and photos for a short collabarative film. I've had no hesitation in subscribing to your channel as it's right up my street. Do please take a look at mine and see whether you like what you see. All the best & "Happy filming!" :-)
Brilliant! How lucky you are to have muntjac resident in your garden!! 👍👍

Lovely selection. Just shows what we miss if we do not look close. Love the Peacock Butterfly ... one has been to our garden but didn't rest long enough for me. Have a good week, Julie.
Thanks Julie, the weather was perfect for videoing, so made the most of it👍
Great capture. Would love to see one. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks again, they have visited 3 times this summer, but are off like a flash!
A very colorful look around, not too keen on the flying, stinging things but we do need them. Nice clear filming, cheers Alan
Cheers boss, a big brazen lad like yourself, nothing to be scared of😂👍
Cool moth that, would love to see one on my travels one day, never seen one 👍
Cheers Gaziano, relatively common in these parts, but easily missed, they don't keep still for very long 👍
You're funny. It knows where you are and now will always pay you a visit ..
🤦🏻♂️But did it cheer up your day for at least 5 seconds 🤗 Thanks to you
@@wildlifewalkswithcountryge749 It was a good observation and wonderful capture with your camera. Thank you for sharing it with us 💖
Butterflies and hedgehogs are two things we are seeing less and less of Up North, unfortunately. Looks a good place to leave it and fingers crossed it is still there on your return. Cheers Alan
Cheers Alan👍 If anyone wants to fight there way through those stingers, they've earned it😂😂 Shall go check on it tomorrow, always look forward to the results 🙋🏻♂️
please check out pakenhamwindmill.co.uk for probably the widest range of wild and caged bird food at internet prices
Your Garden is so beautiful 💖Very cute Deer's :)
Thanks to you Yvonne, its been a long slog to get it wildlife/vegetable friendly 🤗
👏👏 great work.
Woohoo, cheers Dylan😊
It's amazing to watch all these wild animals so close. The capture of Tawny Owl - wow, really impressive! And slow motion scenes brilliant! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Great vids Please can you tell me what video camera you use please? Thanks
Cheers Country Boy. It's the Canon XA20. I've had it about 4yrs now. An excellent all round camera with some great useful features, but it's now been replaced by I think, the XA11. Worth taking a look. Thanks again 👍
👍👌
Lovely capture. Beautiful movie.
Thanks to you Knut 👍
this is an extremely beautiful video of birds. Full of lovely footages 👍👍. You are so talented photographer my friend.
Many thanks to you Jose, you have some fabulous material yourself! Cheers.
Amazing captures there, so much different wildlife, 👍
A good mixture there, typical of what's about localy 👍
Looks a beautiful area, nice countryside, looks a good spot to have a trail camera , all the best for 2019 👍
Many thanks Gaziano, it's a nice part of the country, also the driest. Plenty of wildlife to keep track of.Cheers😁
Brilliant intro, there's no better way to waste time, that was a saying of my father. Looking forward to watching all your other uploads. All the best. Phil.
Great capture, and lovely choice of dramatic music, brilliant!!!
What a great compilation, you certainly found a "hot trail" or two. The high speed Muntjac was fantastic. Keep up your sterling work.
Cheers Smiffy, it's repositioned at the moment, but far less successful. Shall move it within the next few days, see what happens 🤗👍
Wow ! Fantastic video ! What a chance to see this bird in the wild. Thanks for sharing. Greetings, Annie
Many thanks Annie, it's a regular sight in this area.
Very enjoyable watching, you are very inspiring and I am going to pinch your idea of using the camo tape to help hide the camera even more its a brilliant idea :)
I wasn't happy leaving the camera without a bit more help disguising it, the tape definitely helps, it's cheap, and can use it many times👍
Great spot on the owl, never seen one myself, while out waking. I hope you have a very Happy New Year, cheers Alan
Cheers Alan, and to you. It's a regular this way this time of year. We're lucky to have a good population of them this part of the world👍
Great captures! It's not often you see an owl in flight. Thanks for sharing this.
The Barn Owl is quite often out late afternoon into the evening.
That fox seems to have an injury to one of its rear legs. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks California, your right, will most likely heal with no problem though. Cheers.
That was interesting! Thanks for sharing this.
Many thanks California 👍
