I love the arrangement of this song at the end of S3E1. It's the scene where we see the reveal of older nora w/ the nun. It begins softly, then the brass begins to slowly build and swell, and the tone shifts from sad to triumphant at the mention of "kevin". Well done max!

Love "The Departure" theme, but i especially love this arrangement at the end of S3E1. The swelling brass moment always enraptures me.

I have always thought that the childrens choir symbolizes Grace's children singing from the beyond. It is the only moment in the whole show that they sound, just when we know their sad story, and they give the scene a power and strength that for me can only be compared to the final scene. Thank you Max Ritcher

Just watched this episode last night and the music in this scene is absolutely brilliant! Couldn't get this scene/score out of my head all day and I've had to come on here and see if I'm not the only one... and I'm not! Episode 2 tonight! Even though I'm not very clued in on biblical references as I'm not much of a religious person, I've still found this series amazing. The acting is absolutely top!

Why were the vocals removed? I liked the inclusion of them. It was good music and i liked the transition. For those curious, the vocals were called “Sign of the Judgement” by an African group.

Fucking Powerful ending. Suttle but deep. Kudos to the music the score for enhancing the scene.

I think they may have done something sneaky here and showed the final scene of the Leftovers in the first episode. Imagine this is the epilogue to a book...seems like an ending to me.
