It sounds like you might be dealing with a sensor contact issue. The metal sensor in the boot on the luggage cover hook, or the 2 either side of the wind screen under the latches would be a good start.Make sure they are all clean with no play or movement.It is possible they need adjusting . The airbag light could be linked I am not sure is related , so it's worth investigating further! Otherwise you may need a garage to plug it in for fault codes.

Hi Sarah. Ok is it a problem in both roof opening process and opening boot like normal to load stuff? Or just one of those? I know its not ideal but have a look at this video ruclips.net/video/CUk3RKVRfVU/видео.html its not mine but explains the whole process better than me. It could be a micro switch on the right hand side need attention or replacing . It might also be worth getting the fluid levels checked in the motor by a garage.

@@CzechEngine Hiya thank you so much for your message and information… you’re a star ⭐️ The problem is… when the roof is open or shut… the right side of the edge of the boot is sticking up and there is a gap there. I can see into the mechanical area. It’s like… it needs pushing down…. Which I wouldn’t do… just want to give you a picture of what it’s like. The roof goes up and down fine. I have only had the car a month and now I’m ready worried it’s going to be a problem! Any ideas? Kind regards Sarah

@@CzechEngine I had to search for them, but it turns out that you can get Lambo style or a vertical door kit for the 206 cc! The guy had that in the video, but didn't seem to mention it! I've got to go back and watch it with auto-translation anyway.

I have seen a few articles on the pure tech engine. Does seem the older pugs are far better built . My first car was a 205 and I loved that . Glad you still have a 206 and are enjoying it, and I hope the axle lasts out for a while for you . My best friend had a rear beam go on his Saxo and then on his 106 he replaced it with , rotten luck but he sorted it . Both lived on

It is an easy car to drive , but the insurance might be a little high for a young driver.

A really fast 206cc would have been awesome . I think a 4wd one like the panda 4x4 setup would have been nifty too . The later ones were never as good . Old pugs are great . My first car was a pug

Wtf are you talking about ? 206s have been sold by the millions, in Europe, Turkey, Iran and all over south America, if there's a car you can find parts for, it's a 206

@@awax2585 in the uk I mean . Yes other countries they do seem more plentiful. The non 206cc models we have many of still. But the 206cc is fading from the roads rapidly here . It is a shame

Yes I do miss the older Pugs . The later models weren't as popular or as reliable sadly.

Hi David, I think it is a button to turn off the Internal protection of the alarm leaving only external activated. If you had a pet or something in the car while you are away maybe or leave the window down a little in the sun. But I think you have to press the button within 10 seconds after turning ignition on. Oh wow! Yeah both the Calibra and the Fiat Coupe are strong contenders for me also. I have only been a passanger in a Coupe when i was younger. Not a lot could keep up with us :-) . I think that Calibra was Ollys maybe

@@CzechEngine yeh the calibra and coupe turbos are just about on par when talking standard power levels. though the coupe probably has abit more to give up top end being lighter chassis. and we all know the 5 cylinder sounds the most unique and best out of any other engine configuration/layout. saw one when i was 9 yrs old and it was a LE model, was hooked ever since that day and its my forever dream car.

@@CzechEngine man, my jaw truly dropped tho having the calibra turbo parked behind my plus (6 speed) coupe, you know that feeling you get when you are just utterly gob smacked and shocked ( in a good way)? that was it.

Guess what…..? Roof opened. Then when I tried to shut it, the bootlid lifted partially and stopped. I can open it from the back, but if wont do anything else now. Help please if you can.

The ID 2 is a lovely looker. It still looks like a traditional VW design.I hope it retains its Mini MK7 Golf look. The interior of the concept looks great also.I love the retro nods.
