Do anyone know the name of the girl that appears on 0:22?
This edit is cinda sad. You show us the old disney, now it's just animation and we no longer get the feeling of the hand drawn movies.😥😭
I just miss hard edges. Enough with the bubblegum soft edge cal art shit
Fuck I love this song
Did you guys add a beat to this?
The real Animation cinema ❤
I wonder what Walt Disney would say if he saw what the Disney corp. was working on now
Edit goes hard man ngl Also what movie is at 0:43-0:44? Edit: nvm found it it’s Atlantis I just forgot that scene
One word: WOW🤯
I love that Firebird animation in Fantasia 2000.
E ainda tem gente que fala que a animação japonesa é melhor que a ocidental, pura bosta, são estilos diferentes, em ambas tem animacoes boas e ruins
There is a charm in 2d that 3d just can not capture. One of my favorite films of all time is Disney's Atlantis, i must've seen it atleast 30 times times
10/10
Treasure planet, atlantis the lost empire and the prince of egypt. Evidence that some failures are masterpiece
everybody laughing until my boy Moses drops ten fuckin plagues and parts the sea
2000s 2D movies were peak, I still like 3D animation
THE ALGORITHM HAS HEARD THY PRAYERS, BROTHER
Нарком Ершов в первые секунды очень удивил.
Land before time
we fell off bruh
Eastern European animation is still good
Treasure Planet should have been the way to go, blend of 2D with 3D.
Hybrid/deep canvas movies like Iron Giant, Treasure Planet and Atlantis had so much potential, but Shrek and Pixar were too successful for their own good…
Shrek was a good movie
@@Foogi9000 I didn’t mean to imply it wasn’t. It’s just the fact that it made so much money compared to the other more experimental movies of the time, and suddenly every executive was convinced that full CGI movies were the entire future of animation.
@@mrviking2mcall212 Ah i see your point. I agree.
0:43 best scene in animation history
Absolutely.
But the thing is,it did happen in real life 💀
At least we have the Spiderverse, The Wild Robot and Puss in Boots as great examples of modern art mixed with the old art.
There is a crisis for animated movies, everything has been made to appeal to kids and to make money, we need more movies like The Prince Of Egypt, that doesn’t shy that much at topics like freeing people from slavery, or regret of your actions, and how they will tear apart everything you hold dear. We need movies like Transformers: One, a depiction of a story with an ending that has been known since the start for transformers, while the movie still holds tension for the characters. I’m gonna stop typing, I believe my point is clear now.
Crazy thing is how low our standards have fallen, movies like Luca and Turning Red are considered good movies because they’re not absolutely terrible like the majority. They’re still ok don’t get me wrong. But they’re nothing compared to the 2D golden age
Chills.
Disney 1990-2005 PEAK
I prefer everything to look like dog shit as now
God bless those who work in the Prince of Egypt Movie❤
We unironically need a new Bible movie. That shit was so fire
Fern Gulley is my go-to for western 2D. Final form Hexus is straight nightmare fuel.
The Firebird never fails to amaze. Kids these days don't know what they missed out on.
all the second part films were part of my childhood
What was the movie at 0:45 with the flair being shot
Atlantis The Lost Empire
@@callumdonington2227 THANK YOUUUUU🔥🔥🔥

I don't watch any movies, but from time to time I still watch some classics. Tarzan, Lion King, Iron Giant, Mulan, Pocahontas. Many of them make me cry (I'm an adult man). They ARE art. Not mindless slop.
Pre-Shrek Dreamworks is SO underrated
people used to look up to western animation. now japan seems to be the animation center of the world. hopefully they don't fall into the same trap as us.
3D has become over saturated. I am no longer excited by the next 3D animated movie.
It’s defenitly not because of the wholeness but it’s because Disney focuses too much on the wokeness and less on the actull story
western animation used to be bangin.... imagine how it'd be if we had used all this time between its peak and now developing and improving instead of letting it die and atrophy. Anime is basically the only significant sector where 2d is still consistently used.
I know everyone here prefers 2d but megamind, and the Lego Batman movie are both amazing and I’m glad they’re 3d
What’s the one with the greyish girl and the big Phoenix? It looks cool
i think it's fantasia 2000
@@rockin26716 Thanks! That’s crazy I thought it was just a goofy movie about a wizard Mickey Mouse and sentient brooms (No pun intended btw)
what animation is this god-looking creature opening the skies from? 0:49
Fantasia
Disney needs to leave the woke shit, drop the ugly 3d and go back to what it used to in terms of quality
The princes of egypt is the best animated movie
"If it is important enough for the Spirit of God to have brought it into your mind, it is that thing He is detecting."
I love the smooth movements & art mixed with the songs of wrst animation
Luca movie wasn’t bad
