I've read Immaculate Collection is the biggest selling Greatest Hits of all time. I can't believe how high on the sales list Evita is, but it's a double album, so it counts as 2. Also can't believe how much Something to Remember and GHV2 have sold. True Blue was huge in 1986 but when I listen to it now, other than the 5 iconic singles, the rest is just filler. Like a Prayer and Ray of Light are much better albums. Cool to watch this, though.

This isn’t accurate data. I’m pretty sure it’s been reported that Stripped has sold over 14 million units and also Liberation debuted with 100k sales so that number is too low. Also both Bionic and Lotus are certified gold in the US so their sales should be closer to 1 million each…

It's so weird to me that Back To Basics sold so low with how well the singles from it performed. Its not like the album wasn't promoted. And Christina was still very much in her prime. I'm confusion.

The early years are questionable in my opinion, as far as Thriller and Off The Wall are concerned. Thriller had passed the threshold of 35 million in late 1983 and 38 million copies sold in 1985 according to Guinness book of that year. Also, according to RIAA, Off the Wall was certified double platinum by December 1979. This means already 2 million copies sold and it continued to sell even more in 1980 and 1981. So there are some mistakes but i think the recent 2022 total sales account is correct. In the end the video shows the real numbers.
