Emma Sansom High School final year activities
This has clips from the Rebel Block Party (May 2006) as well as pictures from the final homecoming and final home game (and band reunion), both in Fall 2005. Background music is from Rebel Band performances from the 1970s. The amazing thing about the show that Smokin' performed is that this was the first time they had played together in over 10 years, and they only had about 90 minutes to rehearse and put the show together the night before.

This is a video that I created back in 2006 for the Emma Sansom Class of 1976 30-year reunion. It combines contemporary footage with 8mm film clips from my childhood for a sort of then-and-now effect.
Talakto PWD - Geico car

At the Talakto District Pinewood Derby, one Cub Scout made a show car built to look like the Geico "money you could have saved". The car came in fourth place, but was clearly a crowd favorite. The output of my camera was being projected onto a large screen above the stage, and listen to the audience reaction as I zoom in on his car.

While waiting for campfires to start, our sound people usually play "Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex, a Swedish techno-folk band. If one person starts dancing around on the stage, usually a bunch will follow. This night was no exception.

We did a version of the old "If I Were Not A Boy Scout" skit, but ours was called If I Were On Camp Staff. People acted out their respective program areas. On the very last iteration, Daniel Wright jumps in with an ediorial comment about Ecology.

Camp Mike 2010 - Native American Dance

This was a demonstraion of Native American dance done at one of our OA campfires (it preceded the callout ceremony). The dancers were staff members Damon Ashley and Jacob Murphree. Damon came in six place nationally at the 2009 NOAC. This is his last performance as a youth member of the OA, since he turned 21 the day after this was recorded.

This is the song that we ended the closing camp fire each Friday night with. On this particular Friday, we had to use the Dining Hall due to inclement weather.
I went to a camp called camp kithikewana and they did this but obviously different

I had done this skit yesterday, well, I was at AOL camp, and the staff did it. It looked a lot like this, but some of them where different and/or swapped. We did left to right, swapped some of the positions, and the boxer was captain America. "Truth, justice, and for America! Also, we did the most recent to least recent. I know that is just like what you, but we also did a carpenter instead of the one before lunch lady, dd not do lunch lady, the cow had its own, and it would scream "MOOOOOOO". We also skipped preacher, and had girl scout as our last one, after that, they all screamed and ran away. They didn't even do the rest of the song, as soon as they said that, they all ran away and sat down, besides the guy running the campfire, whatever his name is.
Do they get their badge for singing this song, it's so goofy 🤪 lol

This is actually a very well traveled skit. The staff at the camp we went to every summer did a variation. Brings back memories to see this troop do their own twist on it!

I've been in Scouting in one way or another most of my life and seen many, many skit shows over the years... I've seen this performed lots of times, but NEVER as fantastically flawless, inventive and funny as this! Sending that troop lots of love from England x Ps. Please totally ignore the rude, ignorant and worthless comments; hugely un-scouting and quite frankly embarrassing!
