Ha thanks! I love it! Have one of 2 of my cars
nice video keep them coming love from the uk
Wow! That’s awesome! Thank you
It's good to see young people still fixing up cars.
I appreciate the compliment!
@@WaterMelonGarage I would love to place one of them motors in my Fiero, but it wouldn't fit. I'm in the middle of fixing up a 3800 engine for it.
@@zibafairchild6185a 3800 in a fiero??? That would be awesome! Is it supercharged?

could you zoom in a little more i could still see it 😀
Alright alright, it was originally filmed horizontally, and the vertical transition didn’t go so well 😅
@@WaterMelonGarage haha no problem just messing around
I've never seen a clutch that bad before.
Me neither!
Yeah seen worse and it sounded like a missed gear when it went
Wtffff I’ve never seen one that bad 😅
Me neither!
Whoever got 100% of that clutches life
Toxic dust
Yeah I got mesothelioma for sure
Help me step mechanik im stuck😂🤣😂🤣
That thing was driving around at 1/8th throttle for at least a couple thousand miles
It fell out when you loosened that bolt
Damn never seen one that bad. They tried to drive it until it would do nothing.
First problem, you're not wearing a mask? There's asbestos in a clutch plate.
Newer clutches don’t have asbestos any more, it’s been banned since 1989. But in hindsight, I definitely should have been wearing a mask, you’re right. I didn’t think it was going to be that bad.
@WaterMelonGarage you'll find out in 20 years. There are lots of cheap clutches, and brakes still have 10% asbestos if it's a foreign vehicle. I suggest using a pump sprayer with a mix of 60- 40 soap and water and start spray washing clutches and drum brake before taking them apart.
@kennethwoolever5054 good idea. This was a 2021 ford bronco though, so hopefully it’s ok
'I think I found the problem" hahahahahaha
Holy shit
what car is this from😅
Valid question will all projects I have going, haha. This is from the Supra
Maybe a plastic or hardwood , metal don't sound right
Better check the crank.... Those main bearings are shot and with the shredding I see it appears it ran low on oil ...
Good thinking! I might have ran it low for a little while. But I didn’t drive the car all that much. Luckily my crankshaft looks absolutely amazing! Not a single bit of wear!
@@WaterMelonGarage Thats good... Bearings are supposed to be the wear point... The crank is most expensive part as you know
Nice job bro 💪 💯 👍
Instructions unclear, got my prostate stuck
Thanks man, I was getting stuck on step 1 until I saw this video.
Glad I can help. You’re now RUclips certified!
Easy part
Lmao 😂
Can we video the engine being set on the narrator
If I hit 10,000 subs
This is the best video of all time!!! So full of great information!!
STUPID, ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION is not and engine alone
Well the engine came out didn’t it, haha
About to try this brb
Let me know how it goes ha
@@WaterMelonGarage came out just like you said actually, pretty crazy. Just loosened the engine bolt and it came right out😳
@@R06NSoh yeah, just gotta get that engine bolt. I don’t get what the big deal is ha
@@WaterMelonGarage rookies, man
Maybe next time don't go into to much detail. It makes it seem complicated.
Aw man, I tried to make it so I could understand, sorry ha
😂😂😂
What car is that
It’s a 1992 Supra
Yep, thats how you do it. Now we're all experts!
Yeah! RUclips certified!
Thats one way but it's not the only way!
True, but so far, it’s the easiest way I’ve found ha
@@WaterMelonGarage Hey my man I was just joking! Good Job though!
My motion raceworks is smoking pretty decent at idle is thst normal or what
Well, I’d say probably not. Some smoke is ok, but mine was a lot, so I figured something was wrong. I check compression and 3 cylinders were low on compression. Think I burned up my piston rings.
@@WaterMelonGarage Mines a fresh build only has about 1500-2k miles on it just installed this can today and it's smoking about like yours but it goes away as soon as it comes out I wonder if it's a moisture vaper
@pitbullfan1234 hmm, I don’t know. I noticed a fuel smell in mine, and when I hit boost, oil would shoot out and smoke everywhere
Low compression is good for turbos. The cylinders with 100+ psi need to come down 😂
So I should have just turbo’d 3 of the cylinders? Haha
Exactly 😂
Your new tag line….”Oops, that ain’t good! Oh well.”
Ha, sometimes that’s all you can say
Makes sense. NGK is for rice burners and watermelon supras. Use AC Delco plugs for GM. Brand matters for plugs, and material
Man, that happened to us.We put a new motor in the truck and it had this crazy.Miss couldn't find it and so we took it to another mechanic. And he found the crack in the spark plug
Yeah, it’s a simple thing I should have checked already, but all the plugs are new so I didn’t think about it
i bet the person helping take off that turbo was dumb
Naw I gave you the hard job haha
first comenttttt
Ha yeah!
U don’t have any parts off your gto tht u would sell
Maybe, what do you need?
@@WaterMelonGarage I need the front bumper cover if u got it and the cover tht goes on the top of the dash where people usually put gauges on top of the ac controls
@@WaterMelonGarageif u have the front turn signal plugs tht would be good
Emotional damage
Permanent emotional damage
That beat though! ❤
Yeah it does sound pretty sick
IT'S THE TENSIONER PULLEY FOR THAT BELT
Yeah, you’re right
Belt tensioner is your issue you can see it moving when you move to the right
Yeah! You’re right, hopefully it’s an easy fix
Unfortunately you may have to redo it a couple of times because its a stupid design thats likely to leak if you dont drop the oil pan, install the timing cover then reinstall the oil pan.
Yeah I’ve learn that now ha. I redid it and it’s not leaking under the front cover anymore. Hopefully that fixes it
You’re better off doing it yourself anyways.
Yup. I’m right there with ya man! But hey, think of all the skills and abilities we will have accumulated throughout life! And not to mention all the money saved!!!
