I love how when 2017 x sing" IN HIS WORLD" Tails gets all brave and confident and if you listen to it more, he says "IN HIS WORLD, HE SAVES THE WEAK" which is referring to Sonic. S9 what im saying here is tails may have got confident due to him being sonics sidekick and since sonic can do anything, tails thinks he cwn too. Not only that but he also states "WE WOULD RATHER NOT TASTE DEFEAT!" could be a reference to how tails was about to die but he refused to. Also im aware that what im saying isnt canon. But since this is a animation, this could be different from the original timeline of 2017 x.
