Doing a 69 gto now with my father. Brand new frame going under it. Just dropped the old one on the ground. Had to cut most of the body bolts out as they were stripped. Can you access the middle mounts from the inside of the car if I strip the interior?

Are you aware that 2 stroke oil in the TCW2 variety has built in carbon removal? 2 strokes are notorious for Carbon build up. I wonder if using it in Diesel fuel would provide the same cleaning affect as well as improving lubricity of the UL Sulfur fuel?

I believe you can clean the intake with an ultra sonic cleaner.

Cheers. Good video and tear down of my transfer case. Quick question though, I know a few guys who put anti shudder fix in with their fluid change; usually an ounce. I'm no friction disk or transmission expert so what's your opinion of that?

What did you do to angle the upper raditator hose? The output from the rad would be directly into the alt. I have the same year and gen 5 bbc serpetine setup.

What about just checking pressure and flow from the t valve at the front of the engine. If I have concern about fuel, I just put the drop hose into a bottle, open the valve and turn on the key. If it fills up the bottle quick, it should be good.. Right?

When you put the new injection pump back in , did you just line up that dowel pin at 10 o’clock because that’s what you pulled the old one out at. You didn’t have to set the truck at top dead center right?

How did you remove the old shackle on the passenger side without removing the tank? I've completed the drivers side and hate to drop the tank just to do the others side but the space looks even tighter than the drivers side was.

Can wore out pads cause my car to shimmy a little when driving under 20 miles an hour? Someone suggested that. It sounds like I have a tire off balance but I don't. Once I go over 20 it's smooth sailing. I don't get it.

I’m having the same issue. But now I’m at no start. I took #1 injector line off and turned it over and only got a dribble. Any thoughts. When I got the truck it started with no acceleration. Easy start fired right up. Changed vacuum pump and it fired right up again and still no power. The. Hooked egr up and it would died. Shortly after it wouldn’t start. Then the listed things have been tried. Any help

Thanks for the videos, I watched all parts of this repair and it's just what I need. I really appreciate your help! I saw another video that used rivets to hold the panel in place and then had to grind them down. I like your approach using screws that can be removed without grinding. I don't have a flange tool so I'm thinking I can have a little larger over lap for structural integrity and just use a little more mud to blend the patch in, any concerns?

🤬🤬🤬 I’m so pissed I got a 01 accord swapped the transmission because it was shifting hard and wouldn’t shift good when I would drive it and when I would shift to reverse it wouldn’t even go into reverse I swapped the transmission from a 98 accord and it started running good but then after an hour of driving it started doing the same bull 💩 y’all think if I clean the solenoids my car would be fine please some one answer!!!!

Dude I had the same deal on a 1999 Savana 3500 6.5 box van with only 141k. Dude did a bunch of repairs and it turned out to be the pmd so I gave the guy a grand for it and got it running. Definitely trying to get a fuel pressure gauge or warning light set up. And checking the glow plug systems because I'm still having hard start issues with some white diesel smelling smoke on start up till I rev it

Nice job, and thanks for the adhesive idea. I have to do the same thing. Another 2 - 3 more hours of bondo, filler, and sanding would of made it look flawless.

Trans Ams always sat lower in the rear even when brand new. 2nd generation anyway.

I have a 95 so I don’t have to worry about gay egrs! Everything now days is trash
