Great stuff! Expressive; powerful; yet delicate. Wow!

Une chanson merveilleuse interprétée par ma voix préférée, une voix unique et probablement l'une des voix humaines les plus puissantes et spectaculaires nées sur cette planète. Le problème est qu'une telle chanson interprétée dans le style « miaou pop » ne nécessite pas un quart de la voix de Laura, et au cours des trois dernières années, Laura a chanté davantage de chansons de ce genre. La question qui découle de ce fait est "Pourquoi le Créateur a-t-il doté Laura d'une voix phénoménale si elle ne l'utilise pas tout de suite ?". En faisant référence au titre de la chanson, je demanderais à Laura si elle sait combien de personnes elle a blessées en abandonnant la musique classique. Avec sa voix naturelle et une formation vocale adéquate, Laura aurait pu surpasser, avec le temps, Maria Callas et aurait été une diva absolue, une "soprano sfogato". Hi. Great reaction as always. I don't know what it is, but when Courtney performs live, she just elevates her already spectacular talent exponentially. She has this unbelievable ability to infuse so much energy and emotion into the music and it's just like it washes over her audience in waves. An incredible adrenaline rush. No greater live performer in music. Pair it with her unmatched vocals, and you create a mind boggling musical experience. Her concerts are going to be insane. Once she starts touring, and word spreads about how fabulous she is on stage, her concerts are going to be the 'in' place everyone wants to be. People will be fighting for tickets. Her shows are going to become legendary. Little bit of updated information, some of which others have mentioned. Courtney has said that the first singles from the the album will begin dropping very early next year, with the album to follow. They decided not to starting dropping the singles this year during the holidays when everyone would be focused on other things, which makes perfect sense. So, it won't be long now. She also said that she has created a lot of content that she will be sharing with us on RUclips over the interim, until the first album single drops. This is the second live version of her original songs that she has shared. She also dropped a live version of 'Call Me Back' a little over a week ago, which is equally sensational. There is so much rawness and emotion in that song, that it rips your heart out every time you her it. I would recommend that you react to that live version of 'Call Me Back'. BTW, if you didn't get all the lyrics to this song, 'Jagged', I would suggest you listen to the lyric video on Courtney's RUclips channel, because the lyrics are sensational. Also, as to be expected, there are live shows and some touring being planned for after the drop of her album. As part of the prep for that, Courtney is putting together her band. So, here (and on the live version of 'Call Me Back'), we are seeing Courtney introduce her band for the first time. They are who Courtney will be touring with post album drop. Great seeing Courtney back on stage. She's a little firecracker up there. More like TNT!!! Yes she is still independent and loves it. She seems to be enjoying doing "Everything" herself. And she's good at all the other things most musicians/artists can't do very well. She's just got that gift to go at it hard and loves doing it all.

Always love your reactions, yes Courtney Hadwin rocks and her new band is pretty good too. Did you see their version of Call Me Back with just Courtney, the pianist and lead guitarist? It's amazing too. Courtney just turned 20 July 6th. She's been working regularly with Minneapolis producer Kevin Bowe for 2 years. They worked together previously, but last year they cowrote all 5 of her original songs, and this year she traveled to his studio in Minnesota where they worked in person for the first time. They met face to face in New York for her performance at Carnegie Hall April 29 and travelled to Minneapolis together from there. That is Courtney's own band, and she's performing with the full band for the first time here. She will go on tour with them next year after her album of new songs comes out.

Laura est née pour chanter. Elle a une voix unique, de par sa polyvalence, sa puissance et son timbre. Cela lui permet de chanter dans plein de registres différents. C'est rare d'avoir toutes ses qualités rassemblées dans un chanteur. Je suis étonné qu'elle ne rencontre pas plus de succès dans le milieu musical. Elle a clairement un potentiel incroyable. Après tout est subjectif, je peux comprendre qu'aujourd'hui les gens ne soit pas forcément réceptif à ce type de voix et ce registre musical. Elle est encore jeune, et c'est déjà une grande artiste. Je lui souhaite plein de réussite dans ses projets et j'espère qu'elle continuera de nous émerveiller. J'ai eu la chance d'assister à un de ses concerts, c'est un moment que je n'oublierai jamais.

J'ai déjà ecrit un commentaire mais je voudrais ajouter que Lucy et Will était concurents au meme Tv show en 2018: the Uk voice kids. Durant le show ils sont devenus amis. Depuis ils ont fait quelques video ensemble. Will a été engagé pour représenter Marius dans la comdie musicale : les Misérables a Londre. Probablement il fera partie de l'équipe de la c.m. : Rosie

Hello again & Thx for posting this one. Yes - Lucy's voice is always so pure and stunning. She and Will have teamed up at least 5 or 6 times - I think he has done a great job in all. Hi There I saw Lucy and Will sing this duet at Lucy´s concert in London last week.She sang 23 songs had 8 standing ovations and recieved a 5 star review from the British Musical press.This song is from her new musical Rosie (opening next year) she sang all the songs from Rosie at the concert.Thanks for supporting Lucy.

You should give us your reaction to Courtney Hadwin's "Cover Sessions," from 2019. (At about the time she turned 15 years old.) They are on her RUclips channel. There are 4 of them: covers of "Sucker" (Jonas Brothers) "Old Town Road" (Lil Nas X) "Sign of the Times" (Harry Styles) "Someone You Loved" (Lewis Capaldi) Her "Sucker" cover has been viewed 11 million times on RUclips. All of these are pure Courtney. When she does a cover, she makes it her own song.

Courtney writes her songs (including this one) in collaboration with music producer Kevin Bowe. My understanding is that Courtney writes the lyrics, and she and Kevin collaborate on the music. Kevin then produces the songs in his studio.

The video was filmed in the Tabernas Desert in Spain. The sea is the Mediterrainean.

If there is a perfect song that "showcases" her vocal abilities it's this song! I was especially happy to hear her in the lower register! I was hoping she could find a song that would work for her in that range! Furthermore , she was able to smoothly transcend into the upper register! Thank you for supporting Lucy. This one is also special to me (age 70+). At 13y she auditioned with Chris Broom. This got her the leading role in his musical Rosie (about Rosie Boote, see wikipedia) and a record at 14y. Google something like "Rare recordings Lucy Thomas" to find "One Day", the song that got her the contracts. You'll find more jewels in that playlist like her oldest one "Colors of the wind", age 9!. Just google "Lucy Thomas Rosie" for most of her other originals written by Chris Broom. Seen her "One moment in time" cover (Whitney) and Unchained melody ('have to see')? Enjoy.

This is a cover of the Annie Lennox version. A lovely rendition from Lucy, and the video was very well put together. I think I still just prefer the Annie Lennox version. I think her older world weary voice serves the song’s melancholy a little better.
