1st Corinthians 15:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures

What air cleaner is that?
In theory if you spray alittle brake clean around the fittings to check for air intrusion
Just bought a 1989 7.3 idi non-turbo. Yes, make sure no air enters or fuel leaks in the fuel delivery and return systems. LOL.
Clear as mud. ???
Ben Shapiro turning his hand to diesel mechanicing… respect!
Well you have electric there. Heat up turbine with a heater hair dryer, it works. Ive also heated up the oil. Then poured in motor in winter also works
A 92 250 7.3idi turbo did a fuel filter change and it’s some how still sucking air never done it till I change the filter
Watch a zip ties video if you actually think starter fluid can hurt a 7.3 idi. He proves everyone wrong. Great video. Dont forget to put ATF in your fuel filter
Qwantwz hp??
I wish I would’ve found this right when I got my van. Every single thing you said I had a problem with Ben had an extensive learning. About these engines with each of those problems. I would’ve watched this in the beginning I would’ve known all of it, thank you for the great video
So you no longer have a roll over valve?
Did you shave a little off the diameter or the length?
You can still buy the banks it's 3,500 I think something like that. Good video!!!!!!!!!
My 1994 ford just turns over but wont crank with starting fluid at all . Any advice?
The camera work is just awful …. You should have someone else hold the camera while you point for where they should be filming
I did it all on the fly because my inbox was blowing up and it took way longer to try and walk people through it.
Great video
Excellent video! Do u have a link to those clear lines? Do they have to be rated for a certain something?
It was called 1/4" chemical line and I bought it from menards. The diesel eventually deteriorates it but takes awhile. They never leaked just got a little more brittle I think after 2 years or something
Thanks for sharing! But How do you know injectors are bad enough they HAVE TO be replaced?
You really need a pop tester something most shops don't even have anymore
What do you consider to be "overheat" coolant temps for this and what about EGT limits for backing off?
Wow,thanks! So much to learn! Should have started W/your Glow plug video first? How to find that??
Your credibility goes way down when you do not know the difference between a Engine and a Motor.
So ford use a ats turbo of the 93 94 factory turbo engines?
I can't find the injection detector online...
@4:27 is timing directions on advanced vs retarded
What causes the brakes to leak down on a 1992 Ford F250 7.3
You should make a video covering the selector valve and how to delete it, I want to get rid of mine but I’m unsure what to do about the fuel gauge? I read online that the orange wire is for the gauge and you can just jump it to the sending unit on whatever tank you want to use but I would like some more knowledgeable advice before I start cutting into random wires on my truck
Wo kann ich das kaufen?
I noticed that i have a leaky injector, it seems to leak on the bottom thru the threads in the head. I have a new return line repair kit laying around.. do you think it's just the copper washer leaking?
Thank you!!!!! Been searching for hours and found your video. Truck started right up after checking the Schrader valve
Anyone running psd filter on a idi??
I was sitting in the truck last night getting ready to leave a job she fired off perfectly and we just purring like a kitten like she always does and then all the sudden I heard a noise and the idol petered out on me. I tried to restart it but nothing happened. I thought because I was sitting on a hill maybe I wasn't getting fuel. I want to put fuel in and the filler neck was overflowing no fuel would go in the tank. I sprayed some ether in the plenum and it would not fire either. This evening I went to start it again and it acted like it wanted to fire off but a little fireball came out and a pop from the plenum. When I hit the Schrader valve on the fuel pump I just get a tiny little hiss no fuel though. I haven't undone the fuel lines from the injectors yet.
What size turbo is on your n/A turbo conversion. I know it's been a few years
What is the sensor located next to the oil fill?
It's called an engine it does not run on electricity.
Do you still have your IDI?
The 94 yes
Hey just curious I’m about to do this mod I think I have the right pulley here is it the Dayco 89035 pulley the same thing? Thanks!
It won't work if you have the air filter in the air box which we don't see just the air snorkel removed the filter will catch the wd40
I've never thought of that but that a good idea to use wd 40 or something but I use deisel
I just bought a 92, 7.3idi. Is it worth adding a turbo? Idk I’m more about reliability.
I just finished up installing a new Aluminum for a 89 F-250 on my 86 F-250 6.9 Diesel. There are a lot of write up on the Forums how to do this, saved every one I came across on a folder for quick reference. I kept the 86 Booster, but the 2 Studs are a little bit wider than the 2 holes on the MC. I just widened out each hole enough till it fit. This way I figured it would keep it centered with the Booster Rod. I did need to adjust the length of the Booster rod, there is a neat little "H" shaped tool for the adjustment. I did need to make new brake lines, as mine where they connect into the P-Valve were pretty rusted. I bought some of the Copper/Nickle Brake line, easy to bend and do the double flare. The newer MC has an adapter on the rear port, kind of a valve. You do not need the valve for the 86 and older trucks. Take it apart and gut it and screw it back together. I got several at PNP, as the new MC did not come with one. I could not get mine to not leak where the 2 halves screw together, so just Tig welded it together. Old valve with old "O"Ring, and it is a special Ford Ring. Be sure to remove ring before welding, and screw in a brake line fitting so the threads are protected. You will need to change the fittings on the brake lines to the MC, different sizes. I also cut off a bunch of those at PNP. The new MC works great, and really cleans it up over the 10LB rusty old MC. The 86 and older trucks use a Proportioning Valve, on the frame below the MC. Newer trucks use a Rabs Valve (as I have read) that needs the adapter valve that I gutted.
Would you consider selling me that ats factory turbo kit on your spare motor dude?
Thanks for the video bud. If Im being honest I couldn't watch it after I got into the hypermax part. The amount of "Uhm, uhh, uhhh, uhm,..... I just couldn't bro. I appreciate the video and it is informative. But maybe re record the audio in editing? No disrespect, think of it as constructive criticism.
Been told that before but mainly did these vids way back to shutdown the flood of pms on a FB group I manage. Did all the recordings on an old phone without a pause feature or editing software. Served it's purpose
@@groundtogreen1140 I figured that. They are quite helpful and informative. Im mapping out a turbo build on mine, im going to alter a powerstroke y pipe to send both exhaust manifolds into the y. The problem is fitment. When I finally break ground on it Im going to document it. Ill be sure to share it with you. I am greatful for the vids. I had air coming in, never took notice to the return line on my filter housing. Deleted it and haven't had a problem since.
Thank you for posting this! My uncle ALWAYS rocked these Diesel trucks in the 80's & 90's. 2000's, he went to the newer ones BUT I remember how cool the 1st gen series was. I'm trying to learn all I can about them because I've just purchased my 1st Diesel which is also my 1st 4x4. Is 1987 still considered part of the "1st gen" series...???
Hey man so I've got fuel ip is working I've got air my truck is having problems with white smoke if I bleed the fuel lines it fires right up runs right then out of nowhere it blows white smoke then dies if I hit the gas pedal it may or may not respond if I hit it lightly it moves if I hit it hard it putts then out of nowhere gets a lot of power then back to nothing
If it's air which it sounds like you're gonna have to troubleshoot the problem points. Olive seals on fuel flare nut lines and the return system are imo the majority of common issues
Appreciate you.
Hey buddy. I got a 1985 f150 will this work
It might I think all the various master cylinders didn't change much
Ok got one for you . I have a 93 Ford f 250 idi. Replaced control box , regulator, glow plugs , glow plug harness. Checked my fuel filter , to make sure it's full of fuel. No air in lines . Fuses are good . Crank no start Any ideas , I am scratching my head ?
Question i have regarding the 6.9idi is mine ran and drove last year then it just stalled out while idling. Never would hot again since, it has a new lift pump, new starter, new injectors, new lines, new glow plugs. New batteries as well i can even get er to hit off either and im not getting any fuel delivery at all. Bled it out i was told to bypass the lift pump with an electric one by a neighbor mechanic. Ima try that but she wont even hit off either. Any ideas on that one bc she was a good runner and quit without warning it has no air in the system either
Sounds like it could be a potential injection pump issue if you've already replaced all that
What kind of oil pressures are you getting on a 6.9?
I have a 1986 6.9 with the ats turbo My glow plug light ints not coming on but the controller makes clicking noises any suggestions thanks
