The cast was good, but the story kind of sucked. It was literally just the players not doing anything and being side characters to some giants having a mother daughter argument.

As soon as Deborah started explaining her character, I instantly fell in love. I know that as a 33yr woman I shouldn't find poop or farts amusing... but God damn as soon as she mentioned she had a COLLECTION of poops and is in search of the RAREST poops... I know I'm in for one of the best hours of my life.

I am 47 and was never allowed to play DnD growing up and watching these makes me feel like I missed out. Im too old to get into it now but it seems so fun.

SPOLIERS A TPK in the very first encounter??? If it were a scripted encounter, that might be something; Maybe the Dragon has Dissociative Identity Disorder and its other (or ONE of its other personalities) is ashamed by the carnage and so it raises the party from death... Or maybe there's a secret society in town, that's doing all manner of secret things. They can't leave that area, lest they lose the greater part of their power, so it was they who sent out the call for heroes. The feel that this party has the potential to kill the dragon, so they sneak onto the ziggurat, taking enough biological matter to perform a full-body resurrection/ reincarnation spell on each of the heroes and accidentally on one of the dragon's victims from its last meal, who turns out to be a valuable NPC, who gifts the party with a significant XP bonus as they turned out to have been unwitting vessels for its reincarnation. Or maybe the secret society ONLY raises the party and after the post-resurrection exposition dump, it's the secret society who heap XP onto the party... THAT, or something like that could make a TPK in the first encounter worthwhile. Otherwise, I'd be pissed and I'd feel that the DM fucked up and wasted everyone's time!

This is why you need a session zero. Kevin is just gross. He single-handedly almost ruins this entire session. Kate is incredibly patient, but I wish she would have done more to curb Kevin’s behavior.
