this is my 2010 Subaru Legacy GT Premium. It has the 2.5 liter turbocharged engine with 6 speed manual transmission.
Ken Griffey, JR. Rookie card value question.
Просмотров 8 тыс.4 года назад
I am wondering if an expert can tell me the value of this card. It's a Topps baseball card, number 336 from 1988.
Can I remove this wall? Is it a load bearing wall?

In this video I take you up in the attic to ask if my house has a table truss and would allow me to remove an interior wall?

Error card has the value in a pass 9 or 10, non error or low psa score no value, don't believe the idiots in comments
"Premium" is a package of features, and it's below "Limited" Has nothing to do with the transmission or engine. The "premium" package comes with single zone climate, heated seats, no fog lights, and that sunroof was an option, not part of the package. Those 18" wheels come with the GT model, not the premium package. "Limited" comes with leather, with sunroof, with fog lights, with dual zone climate, and the best radio. The manual transmission was available in every trim package.
Had a 2011 WRX, loved it but it should've been a 4 seater. Pretty cramped in the back and Im 5'9" it was bearable but I wouldn't have wanted to sit back there for long drives. Looking at one of these and an 08. This generation has everything I'd want and looks very formal. All the little lights in the steering wheel and dash buttons I like, never had any problems with my WRX but I've seen the previous generation lose their lights.
I have one that I just took out of a sealed complete set from 1990. I opened it a few weeks ago it’s brand new mint condition sleeved and top-loaded. A psa 10 is worth $650 or much more. Some are listed for over 20,000.
Ebay has it for big money
I have one two ❤
I literally just bought this same model car. 2010 legacy gt with the 2.5 box engine. But the guy I bought it from threw in a short shifter and a reinforced transmission. Needless to say it’s a really fun car to drive and I’m already in love with her 😭❤️
Ken Griff, Jr.s Rookie card was 1989. You have the 1990 Topps Tiffany. There was some babble over the first cards that showed a deeper cut. That was corrected soon off. With all due respect, sir. This card is probably worth .50 cents.
Nice card but the corners and surface scratches probably $10
My dad has this car. It's fun as hell but i wouldnt say "really fast"
What kinda rims are those?
THE VALUE IS VERY QUESTIONABLE IT SHOULD SKY ROCKET I HAVE 3 OF THEM YOUR CARD LOOKS LIKE A PSA 8 OR A 9 IT CAN VALUE AT $475.00 TO $500.00
Not worth much. Tha damage is a killer
Yeah I got that baseball card and got some other ones my buddy died and left them to me I don't know nothing about him I got a lot of 1980s and 90s
Most of the junk wax era value is in its sentimental value. Dont get me wrong there are a fee cards that will sell very well but 99.90 % of cards in that era can be found on line doe pennies and some are already graded.
What would a graded 9 be worth ?!
amazing car. im about to buy a yr 2014 model
Did you already change the timing belt during the 10 years of ownership? Also did you have any other isssues that cost u , apart from general servicing?
What's separate the real from the error
People pay nothing for this card raw, theres a billion of them, I have multiple perfect copies that I don't even pay attention to cuz they arent worth anything unless I pay more than a raw copy ever would be worth to send each one to psa, and if it's a 9 you lose money, so that's the issue. And that one is worth zero anyway cuz it's in terrible condition
the ones with the red scab are selling raw quite well on ebay
@@booknooky9436 I'm not familiar with the reference, what card is selling well?
@@booknooky9436 I found the card you meant, the error card, but no those aren't selling at all either, when you want to see if something is selling on ebay you need to go to advanced settings and just look at sold listings. There has been like one card sold in the last 4 months that mentioned the red scab thing, it also claimed to be psa 9, and it went for 24 bucks (psa grading is 150 dollars right now), so like I was saying when I first responded to this video, the card just isn't worth a lot outside of a psa 10 holder right now.
I’ll give you $10,000 for it right now!
I got one send me and email it's a 10 lmk
But not for $10,000 I would do $24,000 but that's the lowest I would go
Why
Why I have one in hard tack
I was kidding. Didn’t anybody detect my sarcasm? Sheesh
I find this card in dollar bins all the time. It’s not actually a rookie.
I understand where ur coming from but there has been cards that aren’t from there rookie year but are still considered rookies and also the one u found in the dollar bin was probably raw and not graded
It's not a rookie because his rookie year was 1989 and that is 1990 . Honestly it's not a very sought-after card so I don't think it would go for too much more than five to ten dollars in mint raw condition.
What you don't know is that Topps did not put his rookie card out in 1989 and so they put it out in 1990. Yes a mint 10 goes for $25,000. That is why it is his Topps rookie card.jsyk
Well he didn't have a rookie in the flagship 1989 Topps he does have a rookie in 1989 Topps traded and 1989 Topps debut . And a 1990 Topps Ken Griffey jr. PSA 10 sells for well under $500 check eBay yourself .
Rook was 1989 me and dad started collecting in 87
I have Topps and it was put out late 89
@@cindycampbell3993 89 topps traded and 89 topps debut .
1 owner wow! I have the 2005 GT I'm looking for one of thesei found one for 8.5k 120km
It's worth 22,000 I had one a collector who had a good amount of cards he was selling let me have a few and this one was one of them I put it up for my son and I forgot about it it was in my camper and I was out one day and my camper caught fire and it was destroyed Broke my heart to pieces bc I have not been able to see my son in a long time and I was going to give it to him one day with a number of other things that I lost .
I have that card bro!!! No bs been collecting since i was 7! Shoot me an offer and its yours
I have 2 of em both in mint condition. I'll give ya a deal I'm not a collector
I have a 2011 2.5i N/A Legacy as a first car, it's a really fun thing to drive IMO even if it comes with a CVT. 186k KM on the clock atm, and not a single fault except for a fuel pump because it has been running on 85 octane fuel for the past 11 years because that's the only thing available in my country Same specs as yours though, same colour with the 18 inch rims but with black leather interior and black trim accents, currently has the turbo hood because a dumbass in the oncoming lane slammed into it and we couldn't find a normal hood as a replacement. Still can't really think of any better as a first car, feels really peppy on acceleration and sounds awesome, especially as I grew up around Subarus for most of my life.
I would say probably 25 because its a rookie. great card nice collection
it's not his rookie card, 89 was his rookie year
It's 2nd yr card
is the dash hard plastic or is it soft?
Hard plastic.
Mine looks the same I have engineered roof trusses and the wall isn't in the middle of the house. It's 28 feet from outside wall to outside wall but the wall was built 13 feet from one of the outside walls and the roof trusses sit on the wall but they don't end and begin again but in the wall it has 2 top plates and 3 2x4 at the end of the wall on each side. My garage is the same size as the room that I want to take out the wall if the wall wasn't there it would be a 28x24 foot room same as my garage and there isn't a wall in the garage and the roof trusses are exactly the same the whole 100 feet of my house nothing different just 2x4 manufactured roof trusses with a walk way in the middle in the attic. I'm scared to just take it out but I'm pretty confident it's not load bearing because there is no load coming down onto it and I went under the house and the wall is built about a foot away from the metal beam that is under the house so if it was a load bearing wall to help hold the roof up then it would be built right ontop of the beam under the house to. So both in the attic and under the house there is no load going onto it but since it's a 28 foot space maybe it just there to help hold the roof it looked just like your how the roof trusses don't end on that wall but just rest on it and spans from one outside wall to the other. You think I should call a contractor out just incase? I rather not spend money I don't need to it's already going to cost me 3500 for flooring after I tear the wall out. Not including the drywall repairs and new countertops for island imma build.
I had a contractor look at this and he said I could take all the walls out. I did. It really opened up the space. It looks nice.
Weird, my car has tan leather seats.
Great Video! I have a Legacy GT Turbo 2013, same colour. Greetings from Chile!
Hey. I have the 2011 Subaru Legacy 3.6R Limited and its a great car. Infact I have an display for the Infotainment system.
Honestly probably a Psa 6 or bgc 5.5… it’s a short Print card in a very high print Era. I’d venture to say someone would definitely give y $20 for it to go in there PC(private collection)
If psa10 about 300 bucks but yours is probably a psa4 or 5 like when I got my wade Boggs back from psa it was a 8 and it looked almost perfect to my eyes
how do you send it in? and how much does it cost?
I think you got a badass sleeper car. I myself got a 2018 Subaru Outback but with the na 2.5 boxer, it’s not very powerful or fast with only 175hp yet it still feels pretty peppy at take off and I’ve been able to get it up to 125mph, not to mention that it makes up for the lack of power with great fuel economy over 30mpg on the hwy which is great for long road trips and everyday commuting efficiency….sure 175hp may seem underpowered especially on a midsize lifted wagon but its really not an issue since it’s not really meant for racing but for offroading/overlanding with its very capable symmetrical AWD system with xmode and the very important 8.7 inches of ground clearance. Sure more power would be nice but it’s not a requirement for doing what it does best, On the other hand I would love to have a second car with way more power like your legacy with its turbo engine, or maybe a wrx, now those cars are made to have fun while going really fast!! I just love Subaru’s man!!
Pretty much the 5th Gen Legacy and Outback have higher top speed then the new version.
ik u posted this like a year ago but i’ve driven a 17 outback a couple times with the 2.5 and it whips for some reason, the newer foresters don’t feel that fast but the outbacks always feel like you’re going so much faster then you are
"extremely fast car" LOL
Great car
hey man! im getting the details on a black premium right now! your video sold me.
The one that I have had no back
i'm brazilian i'm seeing this car the finish is much lower in value since car search logan 1.0
Sorry I'm late to the party! My roof is also the same as yours and I had a hard time determining load bearing walls. The vertical supports that come strait down from the ridge beam also rest on an interior wall. Is that what you were looking at? I'm thinking those too are not load bearing walls.
I had a contractor look at mine. they were not load bearing, I was able to get rid of all the walls and really open up the house.
@@matchheadmatch yes the purpose of the scissor truss is to span the area independently and pass the load to the end walls. Otherwise, they would have just used regular joists and had the joist lay on beams and load bearing walls.
HIs rookie cards were in 1989. That's a 1990. Gold cup cards are issued the 2nd year. As far as the "scratch" on his arm, I've seen some people try to say it's a variation. What I've seen is that on some cards in pictures the scratch looks very red and in some it looks like a very dull red or even his skin color. These cards were mass produced to a ridiculous degree, so the only way it would be worth anything is if it were graded by PSA, BGS or SGC as a gem mint (almost perfect condition), which this card is clearly not. Like others have said, it's probably worth more to you than it would be to a buyer.
thanks for the feedback
it's being considered as an error and is worth quite a bit in mint condition. Has sold in the thousands in various auctions
@@booknooky9436 Says who? You mean the same ebay auctions where Juan Uribe cards go for thousands #moneylaundering Please. This is not an error card. Please cite references and don't just post opinion as fact. It's a fake error and theres one for 93 cents for sale on ebay that took 20 seconds to pull up. You are the weakest link.
@@matchheadmatch no to above comment, his topps rookie is in 90 or from the topps traded extra box, has some good other randy i think.
1. Not a RC 2.Crease is a nightmare for value 3.Corners/edges not great 4.probably has more nostalgic value to you than monetary 5.Value <couple bucks?
thanks flash
Nice video bro. What problems did you have whith this legacy?
Excellent car
the clutch went out, otherwise it was a perfect car.
@@matchheadmatch yeah same here around 200 000km my clutch broke down but the engine is solide so i change it and still driving smooth
I have dat card too.
I have two of them
It will make a good coaster
Looks a little rough bud, someone would give you a couple bucks for it
thanks for the feedback
Looks like a PSA 2
I like Subaru got 2011 Subaru Legacy nice car
