I literally just bought this same model car. 2010 legacy gt with the 2.5 box engine. But the guy I bought it from threw in a short shifter and a reinforced transmission. Needless to say it’s a really fun car to drive and I’m already in love with her 😭❤️

"Premium" is a package of features, and it's below "Limited" Has nothing to do with the transmission or engine. The "premium" package comes with single zone climate, heated seats, no fog lights, and that sunroof was an option, not part of the package. Those 18" wheels come with the GT model, not the premium package. "Limited" comes with leather, with sunroof, with fog lights, with dual zone climate, and the best radio. The manual transmission was available in every trim package.

I have a 2011 2.5i N/A Legacy as a first car, it's a really fun thing to drive IMO even if it comes with a CVT. 186k KM on the clock atm, and not a single fault except for a fuel pump because it has been running on 85 octane fuel for the past 11 years because that's the only thing available in my country
Same specs as yours though, same colour with the 18 inch rims but with black leather interior and black trim accents, currently has the turbo hood because a dumbass in the oncoming lane slammed into it and we couldn't find a normal hood as a replacement.
Still can't really think of any better as a first car, feels really peppy on acceleration and sounds awesome, especially as I grew up around Subarus for most of my life.

Had a 2011 WRX, loved it but it should've been a 4 seater. Pretty cramped in the back and Im 5'9" it was bearable but I wouldn't have wanted to sit back there for long drives. Looking at one of these and an 08. This generation has everything I'd want and looks very formal. All the little lights in the steering wheel and dash buttons I like, never had any problems with my WRX but I've seen the previous generation lose their lights.

I think you got a badass sleeper car. I myself got a 2018 Subaru Outback but with the na 2.5 boxer, it’s not very powerful or fast with only 175hp yet it still feels pretty peppy at take off and I’ve been able to get it up to 125mph, not to mention that it makes up for the lack of power with great fuel economy over 30mpg on the hwy which is great for long road trips and everyday commuting efficiency….sure 175hp may seem underpowered especially on a midsize lifted wagon but its really not an issue since it’s not really meant for racing but for offroading/overlanding with its very capable symmetrical AWD system with xmode and the very important 8.7 inches of ground clearance. Sure more power would be nice but it’s not a requirement for doing what it does best, On the other hand I would love to have a second car with way more power like your legacy with its turbo engine, or maybe a wrx, now those cars are made to have fun while going really fast!! I just love Subaru’s man!!

Pretty much the 5th Gen Legacy and Outback have higher top speed then the new version.

ik u posted this like a year ago but i’ve driven a 17 outback a couple times with the 2.5 and it whips for some reason, the newer foresters don’t feel that fast but the outbacks always feel like you’re going so much faster then you are
