Greetings! I'm David Rosenberg, also known as DJ Darroo. Originally from Canada, I currently find myself in Vietnam with my extended family. Vietnam, with its captivating fusion of garlic-infused dishes and fish sauce, has emerged as an ideal destination
While my video editing skills may not be top-notch, I welcome collabs during my stay in Nghe An, Vietnam. "DJ Darroo's Travel Adventure" is my inaugural food and culture review show that explores unique cuisines with a fresh perspective. Despite my affinity for garlic, my tolerance for chili spice is moderate.

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to give you a quick update on why I've been away from Vietnam recently. Unfortunately, things took an unexpected turn for me health-wise, and I had to cut short my stay there.
I contracted E. coli, followed by diverticulitis, which left me in pretty bad shape. As a result, I had to fly back to Canada for advanced medical treatment. It's been a challenging time, to say the least, but I'm grateful to be receiving the care I need.
While I was in Vietnam, I wanted to share a glimpse of my brother-in-law's place with you all. Thuan's house is quite something - there are actually two houses adjacent to each other, giving it a cozy, familial vibe...

Do you pay in dollars or pesos in cabarete?
I paid in pesos - easy to convert from Canadian currency to peso
That burger was too stuffed for Leon, he was having a rough time trying to bite on it.
Leon’s a slow eater in general so that was pretty good of him 😀
I love the video. I was born 10 minutes from there (sabaneta) but raised in NYC. I love it in that part of the island, you got the most hospitable people I ever met. They feed you with knowing you. I was there 3 months ago. Enjoy your stay.

I went to the international school when I was in grade 2/3 in Sosua with Dennis and Denisa they used to own caribe surf hotel

I guess those motorcycles are like taxis? Is it obvious which ones provide rides vs just a regular person?
Similar like a taxi but for shorter distances anyone can request them their eyes are like eagles and often it’s easy to catch one for your convenience

It is fun to watch you and your son! I hope he catches the "travel bug", too many youngsters stay in the house playing video games or on the computer! We benefit from travel to expand our vision and irreplaceable moments

Norma is great people the fact that she took care of u when u were a young boy and she is still around a greta friend of ur parents and u is amazing , that's whats missing in the states.Now ur son get to experiance it amazing. I love Cabarete just wish the people and owners of establishments would keep there place clean. I love knuckleheads in Dona Carmen. The burgers are awesome. the owner is a greta guys met him in November , His wife and little baby boy. Cant beat the price 500 pesos. Ur son Leon is going to be a food critic or foodie. By the way ur mother is so attentive and loving to ur son.

Just one thing, most people that go to Cabarete dont use the all inclusive hotels. In fact, Cabarete only have a few all inclusive hotels. The great majority are villas, condos and regular hotels. This is the biggest difference between Cabarete and Punta Cana.
Ok thanks for clarirication and yes but for those that go to the all inclusive in cabarete I prefer the private hotels and have the freedom to walk around 🤗and eat at all the spots including Dominican family restaurant has some nice local foods too. If you do like all inclusive then maybe punta cana has more variety for you to choose from.
