I prefer the third ending. I find the second one too corny, whereas this one is the right mix of tragedy (Evan and Kayleigh will never have the same relationship ever again) and happiness (but now that they're two grown adults they're free to pursue each other and try it out, even if it doesn't work out in the end).
hope i get to do what the protagonist did in the director's cut ending. i dream of it everyday
Had a different ending years after watching it for the first time. I was like wtf, Mandela effect? So cool.
Lol i was starting to question my sanity after i saw a completely different ending then the first time i watched it
The happy ending is soooo bad! Undoes all the sacrifice he made🤦🏻♂️. First one definitely the best!!!
hwlp i watched director cut😭
So basically he also had siblings who were born before him but because they had futures similar to him they also went back and did the 4th ending and therefore were never born just like he did too. Damn
I'm sure that the first ending is the most right of all.
Absolutely crazy that I only now realize that I watched the director's cut over a decade ago. I just rewatched the theatrical version and I liked that ending much better. As far as 2000's cheesiness goes, it handles it well. EDIT: On second thought, the director's cut ending is better. It stretches the concept of self-sacrifice to it's limit. Imagine stopping your own birth to save people who never even could've known you because of it. Hauntingly beautiful ending.
I watched the director's cut and kind of hated. Thought that was it, but thanks to youtube.
Режиссёрская версия очень крутая. Но. Что думали врачи когда видели как ребенок душит себя в утобе?? Как в коассике? "Ну его нафиг 😂
I was lucky and saw the theatrical version first. 1st ending with the Oasis tune
I've never seen those first two endings. God nice.
0:46 oh that "Goodbye.." is heartbreaking, it's like in Interstellar Cooper took a deep breath and said "Detach.."
The director's cut ending was THE most saddest ending I have seen in a movie recently. I tried to draw parallel with the movie while watching and thought I was the problem in my life and needed to remove myself from the equation for others to be happy (iykyk). 😥 I watched Bridge to Terabithia and this movie, both for the first time, back to back and it was not a pleasant night at all.😔
the movie i watched didnt have the 4 endings can someone explain what yall mean by it
i think , the movie has 4 differnt versoins/ endings
thanks
1 Fear 2Courage 3stalker 4 if you dont get it right Chance and coincidence through circumstance of fate Time and Place If it ever happens to you 1 way or another it will change your life forever
I like all the endings, but I think the one where Evan dies is the best because it's dramatic and emotional. In fact, I didn't know until yesterday that there was another ending. I decided to watch the movie last night because I really like it and play it often and I was surprised at the end when Evan is alive and they don't know Kelly. I was prepared for tears, and then I smiled because Evan survived.
Him getting back with her should be the only ending. It's a good ending ... at first ... But you know from the movie, everytime he tries to get back to her, everythings goes sideways. Him dying closed all the loops, and suffering to the others. Let's say he has a Kid ... or twins ... they get his ability ... the rest i let at your imagination ...😮
Sht movie
Best ending ever.
Fuck shit no
wheres the stalker one
Lmao director cut killed a baby whose not even born
Wth??? I didn't know that it was the Director's Cut that I have just watched. It was soo heartbreaking!! 😭💔 Glad to know there were alternative endings.. But I wish I had watched the happier ones, lol..
ending 3 is the best
Last time i saw this movie i was about 19 years old and now, thanks to some random convo on tiktok i found out that there are MULTIPLE ENDINGS?!
So I only just saw the film for the first time a few months ago on DVD, and it was the director's cut. While it's quite dark and maybe depressing, I think it's the best ending.
Theatrical ending the best one
The 4th ending is like the Lars Von Trier ending.
I love movies that create a whole universe for you to keep imagining. Thats what art and creating should be about
2024?
Director's cut was crrrrrrrrringe lol
Imagine there was a ending where he did actually end up being insane. Thats what i thought happened just before the ending
They should have integrate somehow the 4 endings into the theatrical cut, like giving you the first one and when the credits roll out play the effect when Evan time traveled and see the other four one after the other until the baby one... That would have been awesome and would have really freaked the hell out of everyone.
the 4th one is the ending i watched .... and thats the worse one for me tbh! but was most powerful one though! i like all three of em coz they are the same exept her and i think being not with her is better (1st one)
unbelievable movie mutiple timelines multiple endings this was way ahead of its time
The last one destroyed my heart...
Director's Cut Ending the best ending
Worst movie
The Director's Cut ending made the most sense.
Wtf...after all this years...i just found this altrntve endings😮.. im always thinking letting go will be the best thing i can do for them😬😬...
I first saw the directors cut, that shit minced my brain for the longest time, was so confused when I saw it the second time and the ending was different
The first is definitely my favorite. ❤
Ive only seen the directors cut ending i had no idea about the others 💀
The directors cut was the only version I knew of?
The ending with Oasis’ song is iconic. The others don’t come close.
A tiny baby taking his own life is way too heartbreaking.
The fourth ending is the best in my opinion. It's the toughest and the most painful choice. You know it's the right choice as the same conclusion was reached the previous three times. It's the only way to be certain things are resolved. In the end, all is as it should always have been, as per the gypsy's palm reading, he 'should not exist'. Unfortunately there was never any choice to make, just the illusion of one. Great film.
Bro i am confused about others ending ... I have seen the director cut but where I can watch the others?
The gypsy's palm reading scene and three stillbirths scene are not in the theatrical cut. People here keep saying it "makes sense" because it has scenes added back in to make it make sense. The 1st ending is the best because he has to sacrifice by not being with the woman he loves, but learns from his mistake. Both are tragic but the 4th ending is too tragic.
