Last run of the day in the roughest conditions of the day. Even after several course changes, the course was tough and in some instances rutted so bad I couldn't get out of them (or was pushed into them) resulting in hitting cones. The GoPro doesn't do justice to just how bumpy it was!

Sunday's event was a little smoother but still really bumpy. Overall, the Impreza held up to quite a bit of abuse. It's surprising, really, that it's still in one piece and running!

Hillclimbing is something I've been wanting to do for a few years and this year I was finally able to. We took our 2008 Subaru Impreza rallycross car and outfitted it with some sticky RT-660's from my co-driver's BRZ. My fastest time is this video, which was 3:41. Racing up a mountain is both exhilarating and dangerous. One wrong turn and the results could be much more dire than in an autocross...

This was one of my fastest runs of the day which included a little slop. Ran a 67.9 1 cone after all! Don't let the stabilization fool you, it's hard to see vehicle rotation and the bumps! This was my fastest afternoon run of the day. Sorry for the rattling. I'm starting to get very annoyed with GoPro equipment and looking for alternatives. I can't find the rattle no matter how hard I try to find it in the camera and the mount - nothing rattles until the video plays back. Gary and I went for a few runs in a bone stock '08 silver Subaru Impreza. This is one of my last runs. The exhaust fell off on the second run making it very loud - but it didn't sound half bad! Pay careful attention to the camera stabilization... the camera glorifies how smooth it actually wasn't 🤣

the passenger side just remove the cover it has 2 clips and so with an 8mm you can adjust your lights morimoto
A screwdriver fits and is a faster solution haha
Have these on my f150 for 2 years, these light are terrible. Horrible beam pattern. High beam, low beam, left and right need to be adjusted. The headlights cast shadows down the road from interference inside the housing. Garbage.
I'm starting to feel that way as well. They look GREAT, but the beam sucks. They flicker as well, and I've had a few complaints about it. It's really frustrating, and I've reached out to them and was told essentially "they're working fine". Then when confronted about the beam/flickering, they ghosted me. So... not likely going to go with morimoto again. I may look into some OE LED's and sell these... I also have the rear tail lights and they don't align with the body 100% like OE. Morimoto told me to "keep screwing it into body", which in my opinion, will absolutely strip the housing... so I'm not doing that.
@@robwiddick I have a pretty severe case of buyers remorse also, mine isn't for a superduty but an F150 and I just can't believe how many people hype these headlights. They are whiter for sure, probably brighter too. Definitely look nicer, but the part that actually matters I'm really frustrated with. They just aren't a good head light for pattern and distance. I am also on my third driver's side light as the two previous did not have enough adjustment range upwards to match the passenger side, let alone land in the factory location.

I’m not sure how this is supposed to work. I’d love it to be true, but I can’t find a screwdriver that’s actually capable of engaging that gear.
A regular philips screwdriver works. The shaft needs to be long enough to reach the gear though

Turbo and fuel were close to being maxed out as far as I can remember, in conjunction with it being a relatively hot day. And this is a mustang dyno, which always reads low :| I've since sold this car though..
@@robwiddick I sold mine last year. Nothing but headaches. 511whp/461wtq on Brens dyno. Fun but nothing more than a money pit.
I'm glad the speedometer and g-force meter decided to work at the end, right where it needed to...

this is an old video. I've since done my dom3 build. 376/396 on a Mustang dyno. I'll post it and build list when i get home in a few weeks!

You do realize this was on solid ice, right? The handbrake did me little good, I tried several times! :(
