I think you could have just turned off the main breakers inside the lid on the unit itself to disconnect it from the house load, and like you were saying forget about the transfer switch disconnect. You can hear it take on the load when you turned the twin breakers back on. Correct?

Had a problem with HTH Green to Blue. The first packets were entered then I entered the second II group and that is when the problem occurred. I didn't have a circulator I simply sprinkled the second part onto the surface. Now I have brown particles on my pool water. Any suggestions?

2019 blazer, bought used with 49000+/-miles, 2 days later shudder in shifting, goes to dealership they replace valve body and torque converter. 5 days later go visit son at college 700 miles round trip. Next day PO128 shows up steering assist disabled which leads to this thermostat/ sensor issue. Still got warranty but one service guy says drive it in - I said I’m 50 miles away if thermostat is stuck that won’t be good. Next day we call dealership and set up a tow that will fall under warranty…. Hope this doesn’t have to get uglyOnly 50000 miles . INSANE GM like this guy said DO YOUR PART,

Got it back just in time fie a 4 hour road trip one way to visit son In college, ONLY to get back and go to work Monday morning and this happens. STEERING ASSIST DISABLED- DRIVE WITH CATION !

Just replaced the thermostat in a 2017 XT5 with about 45000 miles on it. Outside of warranty and cost just under $1300 plus tax so about $1400. These are not easy to change. I hope it works for a long time!

Does the Cummins generator actually have a Cummins engine. Also is the Cummins able to run at 1800 RPM versus 3600 RPM on the generac.

We have 6 hours on our new 22K generac generator fired it up Saturday just a few days ago. Ran it 6 hours ran great worked perfect. How much oil did you burn in that 24 hours and how many hours do you have on yours.

Today our light came on. We went to O’Reillys and had it hooked up to the computer reader. It came back as P01F0 which is either the thermostat or this sensor. It doesn’t run hot, heat blows and works well, fan comes off and on. Any suggestions?

James, I appreciate your diligence in checking the oil. To clarify, the reason you reset the transfer switch is safety. It’s never necessary until it’s ESSENTIAL. Did your Generac installer or dealer recommend the 24 hour oil check? Various generator dealers recommend different intervals. Some as low as 12, others 24, and the biggest in the country (in HTX) says 48. Moral of the story: the generac is slightly cheaper and slightly cheaper to install due to fewer low voltage wires. But the CUMMINS is vastly superior. Those range from 4-7 day recommended oil check intervals (again regionally and dealer specific). Yes I’m in the gen business. We sell install and service Cummins, Kohler, and Generac. Hands down, Cummins are our most durable, long lasting, and lowest cost of ownership brand we have. Im glad you have a gen for you and your family. When you get ready to replace, go Cummins. Oh and that cost differential…maybe a couple hundred bucks. Which you will recoup many times over with decreased repair cost
