That's a cool one with Night Demon and a classic with AC/DC.
@@RandarosMusicworld discover night demon recently and love it 😍
@@thevinylsofoz6338 Cool hope you get some more with them.
Those Germain albums are seldom seen in these parts.
@@vinylrichie007 German Krautrock movement had great bands
Great hardrock and metal selection , most of them are in my collection ( originals and reissues ) . 3 krautrock originals at the end are awesome and a great find ! Good vinyl hunting and thanks
Thanks for watching and commenting man. I m trying to upgrade my Krautrock collection to OGs. Got some other killer albums recently and will do a video in the next weeks. Stay tuned. Cheers. Olivier
Some great finds , especially interested in the Virus albums and I've just ordered that book which looks great and at a reasonable price. I 'm after a copy of the Crack in the Cosmic Egg book which is very expensive .
@@grahamallen9393 virus albums are both great. Cosmic price guide price is fine as it is still in print. I don’t know the crack in the cosmic egg, will check it out.
Big thanks Vinyl of Oz🤘✌️ I died a little inside when that The Storm record slid into that upper flap of the outer sleeve😂😅 headphones..

@thevinylsofoz6338 no problem! Loved the video, what a beautiful AC/DC promo..
Great Records ! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching 😉
Some great finds there and always so interesting to watch your videos. I'm on the look out for the Epsilon album . I think Sixty-Nine was my favourite album /band of 2024 , which I know you've shown. Best Graham
@@grahamallen9393 thanks Graham for watching and commenting. Sixty Nine is indeed a great band and an album O bought this year. As I had to make choices and as the video was already « too » long I picked the higher value albums. But value does not always match quality.

"Pres & Sweets" is okay, but Lester is a little past his prime. You might want to pick up "Pres At His Very Best" on Trip.

Hello I'm not sure how your video ended up on my feet but it's cool. You said you are in the uk? I'm originally from Germany (love the uk) but married a GI from Ohio and we went back to Ohio in 81 and tracked down the pooba singer Jim, and bought that record straight off of him and ended up being friends with him and his wife. They still played live at the time and we used to go see play in bars and clubs. Excellent record! Lost track of them because we got divorced. Just thought you would like to hear this since you seem to like them a lot. Ps My ex was al simones, he also did a few psych records later.
@@ufochris hi, I m originally from France, Alsace right at the German boarder but leaving in Georgia USA. What a cool story you have. There were many great musicians back in days. Thanks for sharing

Canuck here, in Canada we have "Best Of Scorpions". Released on RCA in 1979. Songs from PPL1-4025, PPL1-4128, CPL1-4225, CPL2-3039. All your favourite albums. Songs are: Steamrock Fever, Pictured Life, Robot Man, Backstage Queen, Speedy's Coming, Hell Cat. Side B: He's a Woman, She's a Man, In Trance, Dark Lady, The Sails of Charon, Virgin Killer. A magnificent piece of vinyl that I'd never heard growing up in Ontario. It was really popular in Alberta in 1980. It fucking rocks and changed my life. If I had a spare copy I would gladly send you one for your collection, but I have just the one and can't part with it.
Beautiful set up✌️ really enjoy your videos
@@dimebagdave77 thanks for watching and commenting 🤘
Great jazz pickups! Some I’ve never seen before.
@@AsTheTableTurns thanks for watching and commenting. I got lucky on this one 🍀
Your top 40 is interesting. The Jay and Kai is a lovely Savoy record as is the Carmen McRae on Bethlehem, great record label. Illinois Jacquet records are awesome as are the Miles and the Mingus 6 eye Colombias. Prest and Sweets is a gem. Ben Webster swings. I like. Beat by Roy Brooks. The Chet is sublime. The Blue Notes are great records. The Donald Byrd is a great intro to him alongside Byrd in Hand. Any Lee MOrgan has a place in a jazz collection. Something Else and Moanin’ are classic as is 6 Pieces of Silver. Cafe Bohemia, Coltrane, Hank Mobley, Bobby Hutcherson, are more accessible that’s the Ornette Coleman. Stanley Turrentine is such a special sax player. Listen to the Hank Mobleys. They are a revelation. Search for the New Land is one of Lee Morgan’s best records. Art Blakey, John. Patton, Lou Donaldson are all phenomenal musicians. I collected Ronnie Laws in the 80s. I have almost all these records within m,y collection. It is a great spread of relatively acceptable bop, hard bop and even the odd Asante guard record like the Ornette Coleman. Enjoy.
Tank you very much for watching and for the detailed review. I m getting more and more into Jazz thanks to this collection and all I learned from it. I really enjoyed my journey so far I will continue to explore new Jazz sub gendre going forward
You must have a nice collection of prog , krautrock and hardrock by now . I like to collect this genres myself Thanks again for very interesting video , cheers
Thanks for watching and commenting. I m collecting records for the last 35 years at least and was able to put a significant collection together I got seriously into Krautrock around 10 years ago. Wish it would have been earlier that I could buy all this gems at a much lower price 🤣
Hello, I just found your channel. I'm as well relatively new to jazz music. I come from rock music but in recent years I have shifted to jazz, since I found this genre absolutely fascinating. I regret not finding it out much before, but things happened that way. I first started in jazz in the early 2000's on CDs, but I was still highly into rock music. Around three years ago I came back to jazz, this time on vinyl format. This second round finds me really engaged to jazz. I'm exploring its various styles or subgenres, but just like you, I wouldn't consider myself an expert. It's like a whole new world opening wide for me, and I'm enjoying this music intensively, always looking for new records to buy. So, I could say I'm in the early stage of a long journey. Hope I have enough life to dig deeper into this fantastic music.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Jazz is definitely a journey. As you I gave a try a few times but was never very persistent. Over the years, with my musical knowledge evolving, and maybe me getting older 🤔, I started to enjoy more and more to a point that I would now have some Jazz albums in my 💯
You always show the good stuff
Thanks for watch and commenting. I fine tune my musical taste over the years and
Great records !
Merci Chatzala ❤️
I need and OG Blue Train Still !
Probably very difficult to find especially in good condition
Their first two Albums were "Picturesque Matchstickable Messages from The Status Quo and Spare Parts" you have many of the songs from those albums on the Pye records compilations so I would not recommend buying them. The Quo sound came together on Ma Kelly's... so you have the most important records. There are two I would advise you to add if you find them. "Quo" and the "live "album from 1977 also there was a live E P with Roll Over Lay Down from about this time. You have collected the best of their output. Well done.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I. The meantime I got the Quo album. Still missing their first and the live album although!
Why are you coughing constantly
Was sick while I was doing the video I believe
One day we'll have to listen them together. See you soon
En effet!!! À bientôt ✌️
A good selection - would have been nice to see more of the Otis Spann LP.. Been collecting 45 years (2,000+pressings, LP's/45's/10") and have never encountered that one! Same label as the Fred McDowell? Cheers.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes the Otis Spann album comes on Everest records which is the same label than one of the Fred McDowell. Cheers
what abou the real third Benefit... or u likr the first 4 possibly
Good point, I missed Benefit, it is a good album but probably number 4 even if it is the 3rd
As usual a great selection . Good mix of progressive ( kraut ) and hardrock . I have a collection of psychedelic , progressive , hardrock and metal too , mostly reissues however That Ashbury album is a real gem . Love your videos , thanks and take care
Thanks for watching and commenting. Nothing wrong with re issue, I have seen case where they sound even better. As a long time collector and Krautrock fan I liked to have those OG as it is kind of cool to listen on the support which was issued back then.
