I really thought Mr Finklestein was smarter than to trust in the American "system". Your checks and balances don't work, the emergency brakes have been out of order for more than half a century. You will be made insignificant. Why is Finklestein talking about Chomsky in past tense? He's alive and well.

Norman Finkelstein is a voice in the wilderness. His forthrightness and insight are impressive. I think this is the first time I disagree with him completely; I can't fathom why he does not see Trump is a potential fascist in the making.
