YOU'RE "THE BEST" MATH TEACHER IN "THE WORLD"!("YOU ROCK"!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉)
i just took a framing job and have been trying to learn and study a tape measure before i start and i have watched so many videos and had trouble understanding it/and retaining the information but this is broken down well and the presentation is great , this videos you made is amazing and has helped me alot. thank you.
I am indebted to you good sir, I had no clue how to read a tape measure before now I can say confidently I can read it flawlessly. Thank you for such an amazing video and the effort you put in to make it.
Michael got done so dirty 😂😂😂 Love the content! Keep making more and never give up!
Great video. I’d like to see how it’s done when the uppers are too close to the ceiling to fit a nail gun or screw gun between the cabinet and ceiling.
Excellent video 🙂👍... you asked for a tip so one I use often is a speed square up against the edge of the wood that I'm cutting- run the jigsaw along its edge for a fast and perfectly straight 90° cut as it's running along the edge ...also do on a circular saw. Can cut it perfectly straight and at the right angle twice as fast👍
Nice. Thanks you.
It sounds like music and rhythm to a carpenter “s ears! 📐👂🏽 🎶🎵
My favorite tool: The measuring tape! 📏📐
My favorite part of the job is… The final result!💯😍🥰👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you😢so much
Smart design! Can’t wait to see part 2 and how everything all comes together.
This video was extremely helpful! Clear explanations and great views of everything. Nice work.
Thats a fine tool you got there to trim the bottom shims 😂
Why are we dividing by 2? Where did the 2 come from?
Thanks
Thank you.
Thank you for this video. I am math phobic at 65 and have found this very useful.
hi, where's the 2/2 , the one that use on 1/8 came? is it given formula? thanks
with all due respect to this video and technique, i find it quite easy to just draw a quick little diagram for my trim pieces: measuring, marking, and cutting roughly 3-4 piece at a time. This way pieces dont get confused. this is usually quite efficient.
100% agree! We've just found this helpful for absolute beginners in training when they're installing their first or second run of crown
Get an edge banner lot faster easier
In school for carpentry and I didn’t know how to read a tape measure , after watching multiple videos this is the only one that helped me. Thank you.
first one i clicked on thankfully xp but same.
@@trea492 Glad the video was able to help!
Love this. Late husband tired to teach me but I always just say it’s 1 with three lines 😂 scary that I build stuff and I’m pretty good at it but I just can’t read the tape measure and sound so stupid. Thank you for dummying it down. 😊
Doesn't get any more simple than this. If you don't understand from this explanation, then you're screwed
im screwed
Same
So much easier 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you.
So confusing.
Ypu're a Great Math teacher.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
When i needed precise i using metrical tape its much easier.
Best way I’ve ever seen it simplified for the beginner. Thank you!
👏👏thank you so much for this video . Extremelky valuable information .
I like this video for so many reasons.... I wish I had thought of using RUclips as a training tool for my staff.... This video would be on it.... ORRRR. Is it how to pass fractions test😊❤
Baking measurements basic math for the left brain that's me guilty I am left brain creative with motor skills that are necessary to use math nice work
Love that a slow learner like me is still confused just love it 😭🫠
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just found your channel. Thank you so much for being a good TEACHER! I have watched hundreds of cabinet videos to help me DIY my own kitchen cabinets and they show tips and tricks and how they do it. But almost always the people in the video don't explain why they do things and the totality of the project becomes overwhelming. Your step by step instructions, explanations of each process, and descriptions of the terms you use inspires confidence so I can move forward with each step. Mind you, I'm commenting after watching several of your videos, so this is a culmination comment! 😊 Thank you again!
Good, thanks a lot. I really love your teaching sir. Am into upholstery furniture, once again thank you..
I am dyslexic THANK YOU!!!
Thank you very much bro for the tips .now i can read tape measure very well
Love it accurate teach!
Is all coming back Thank you awesome
The lightbulb went off as far as fractions go after 50 years on the planet.
Got me feeling like I can go build a house now thank you 😂
Thanks
Great video. I learned using a tape measure when I was a kid. I have a small woodshop where I've converted to metric though. Still have to use imperial everywhere else though.
Our cabinet suppliers are split, so we use both as well. Thanks for the feedback.
Excellent , intellegent Teacher is that person that explaining in best way , here you did it! applause
Always something new to learn
I've heard it said, why learn fractions since we will never use them in our daily lives. Carpentry is all about fractions, decimals, angles, and curves. Thanks for your Comment.
Unless you are a cabinet maker or doing some specialized carpentry, all you really need to know is, 1/16 1/8- 1/4- 3/8- 1/2- 5/8 -3/4 -7/8 And that's even a stretch.....
Wonderful!
