My main gripe with Creatures of Sonaria is that it markets itself as a "survival game" and even had a MASSIVE UPDATE to up the "survival" aspect. HOWEVER its become the same as it was before. Meat is extremely plentiful from spawners, people just clump together at oasis and hang out (unless a troll comes by) and frankly it's more of a hangout/collect-em-all game than any actual *survival* game. On top of this, Sonar just needs to stop releasing creatures already. COS has over 300 last I checked, and it's become extremely bloated as a result. Just stop and focus on the actual GAMEPLAY by that point, come on!

The thing that sucks about COS is no matter how many times you say it sucks. And show why it does, and why you should play other games. Most players won’t listen because one, COS is one of the best survival games out there creature design and graphic wise. Two, COS has no competition(Malgamations Island died). There are other animal survival games, but none are like COS. If they are they don’t have as good graphics/creature designs. Three, players are addicted to the game, they want to collect every creature. And with COS releasing one very often they must keep up to get them all. Now ofc these aren’t all the reasons, and some people may not play due to these reasons. But I notice a lot of players share one or two of the opinions above. I seriously hope a game comes out soon that rivals COS. And has a roleplay only world because I’m TIRED OF ALL THESE SURVIVAL GAMES.

I was late to the beta but I was playing COS before recode, 2021-2022,legacy was the best sadly no there are no more events in legacy😢I wasn't rich but I wasn't craving for expensive creatures, I loved the old hemokai and kendyll I'm a reptile lover, I used to have the lure before it's remodel I agree with you

I'm one year late to the party , and I've only being playing for a two months at this point. Its a horrible experience as a new player and so confusing.

i got banned from trading so now i cant trade and cant get new specs so i stop playing this game bc it now impossible for me to get specs

I remember thinking unscramble was stupid, and I felt vindicated with a non-autistic friend confirmed he hated it to. not only do you have to remember the nonsense, made up names of hundreds of creatures, but you also have to remember exactly how the not-a-real-word is spelled. screw you if you don't even know about the existence of some of them, I guess. one year on its worse. theres creatures nobody but the biggest whales could hope to ever afford, and you better bet they're currently the most OP.

See the thing is. Creatures of sonaria is a game that is comparable to a match. Rather than some games that you play for long times that burn slowly like a log, you have a game where constant fresh new updates and fuel is needed in order for the game to not die fast. I really love CoS and I still play it to this day. I make content about it, as of august 9th. I’m gonna get banned for saying this but the devs really gotta step their game up. With the incoming recode I hope the game will get better and Ery learns to treat her community better, and the devs make events easier. I most likely will be banned from cos forever for stating this, but here are some advice for people like me who love the game and want to make content for it, but struggle with how the devs are 1. It’s okay to love a game if the devs are bad, just as long as the devs’ actions don’t negatively impact you or the game. 2. It’s not okay to hate on a game in an attempt to get a game removed or to shame the devs. It is only ever okay if the devs do illegal things or are abusers, and they reflect it in their games. 3. It’s always okay to speak up.

Recode maybe could save it for a while

This game literally sucks. I quit this because first, the devs only want robux. They make too much gamepass and plus, they're all expensive. this is also why devs made recode 250 robux. also, the concept of grinding is trash. all you do is sit there and get mush. getting good creatures are WAY too hard. also, when you play the game you ALWAYS fight with another person. This game is stressing so I quit.

I personally think we cant do much to help Cos it's so far gone at this point from what it was in beta, though I have hope in an upcoming game called Harp Isles. There won't be exclusive creatures for specific people at all. If anything I think Harp Isles is going to be a better CoS.

at the end of the day, sonar studio had made their game p2w once again (just as w dragon adventure). Not to mention the lies they kept on stacking with “this will be the last exclusive/warden species.” or when they promised for the CSS event to ONLY ‘rebalance’ the already non-existent economy which they previously ruined anyways, CoS has now either a good community nor the greatest dev team

I have stopped playing the game a long time ago just because it was getting too grindy, and now I came back to malgamation island and I am astound, they have so many cool creatures and some with Subspecies that actually have different stats, so until Sonaria gets fixed I am never playing it

Here’s something I sometimes complain about to myself, when I was a Nakamaska or a Soch, I was attacking a kriffin as a baby (I think it was an adult) and it killed me very easily and I was shocked about it since a kriffin has a beak, so yes it could tear flesh but the beak was small and the mouth of a soch has quite a lot of teeth so it should rip out chunks of flesh, the Nakamaska has its talons, so basically what I’m complaining about is the strengths each creature has

I HATE that people only use big creatures, I use medium sized predators to hunt small creatures, but nobody uses small creatures that aren’t moonelle. I hate that

Just today I gave a pace/elephant + 1.4k for a para - and what do i get? NOTHING, I don't see it anywhere in my inventory and I'm planning on quitting because I'm so done with COS. I understand they're having a "recode" but I've had so many issues with the game that I don't even know if I'm gonna stick around for the recode - I paid almost 17k for a PARA! I didn't even get.

I played COS during beta, it was still fun, and simple in the best way you can imagine. Back then kens, grams and exterris were considered one of the strongest species, it was simple, no one had to worry about getting new creatures. I remember when Qurugosk was first out, everyone was trying to get it but many people were actually kind enough to nest people. Most people hanged out at the waterfall shown in the video, I remember spending a lot of time trying to find it and sometimes I’d ask a flier to take me there which some of them did and I’d like to thank them for that. It wasn’t hard to find packs and families, I remember joining a Lure pack and being nested as an Ikoran, which were able to jump really high and we used it to climb mountains. The community was pretty good, it would only be a few people that would get mad when their creature died but I guess currently people either “kos” or start sending death threats when they get killed, while a smaller amount are just trying to enjoy the game, on the brink of quitting. I watched *unknowing* the game was getting worse, for a long time, it was only a few months ago when I quit and gave all my creatures to someone. I just kept playing until it was a soulless cash-grab, people didn’t care about having fun anymore, it was just to get the new creature which was needlessly overpriced. The LSS event was my breaking point, I didn’t want to play anymore, it was more like a race on getting the most creatures and the game was literally not open for new players. I tried to get a few of my friends into the game so I could hold on a little longer, but it was no use as it seemed they couldn’t get any of the creatures they wanted because of how overpriced everything was. I realized that even many content creators were quitting. It feels unreal how much the game changed, it seems like an improvement at first but the second you play the game it’s just not, at all. I even remember at some point the devs were saying they’ll update the map again, which *really* is needed considering how small it is and no one does anything besides sitting at oasis but I guess they realized some people will keep playing whether they do or not. Maybe one day things might change, but I really don’t think so as there will always be people playing with each new creature and new picture that is put, the devs don’t care if the game got worse, they care if people are still playing or not. Some determined new players will join, work hard to get things but at the end it’ll all be fruitless. I’m sorry for saying this, but I don’t think I can hope the game will change in a good way ever again. If the devs cared we wouldn’t have ended up like this in the first place. The only thing I can hope for is for a new survival game to be released, that’s as good and simple or even better than beta Sonaria. Well… I didn’t expect this to be so long sorry.

At this point I try to ignore it but it's not a simple task, this game is going down hill everyday and the only thing that still make me play the game is the kendyll and korathos, damn it cos devs you just had to reel me in with a damn awesome titanic Kaiju

Encouraging players to harass the devs is honestly not the way to "spread awareness" and "be heard." The devs have no control over what's put in game. Please don't pin this on them!

Whats annoying to me is there is literally no balance, they will just make new Tier 5 creatures constantly thats stronger than the old top creatures literally every single creature drop or give it an ability formerly unique to one creature massively devaluing collections of the long term players. This is a road to disaster the game is already unstable as hell due to horrible coding, random crashes, rubber banding, error messages and thats not even to mention the fact that the devs are constantly ruining the economy that the players have to then stabilize. The management of the game is a joke with no punchline.

Yknow what’s a big problem, toxicity is normalized. KOSing is a fun hobby in the game now, and “It’s part of the game” Dude, that’s not a good thing. KOSing used to be such a small problem way back, I remember it was a 1 in 50 server chance (my opinion) to end up with Kosers, and nobody liked them. Now it’s almost (maybe more than) half of the servers in COS where you end up with a KOSer, or after 30 minutes the server turns KOS. It isn’t funny to be toxic, no I’m not a kid complaining cause my moon died or something, it just isn’t funny anymore. People used to shame kosers and now it’s normal to chat them up as their throwing insults at others and killing peoples hard work earned creatures. Another problem, I’ve been joining servers with racists a LOT. UNUSUALLY a LOT. People are throwing the hard R around while bypassing roblox moderation, calling others N word, it’s just messed up. I wish I can turn back time to when the game wasn’t as toxic and it was all good fun. Now it’s just “It’s funny to make fun of kids because they are cringe and worked hard for their creature, that’s totally ok.” Also people who make big clout out of filming these scenarios, I hope your life ends up in the streets.
