Is there a pilot figure inside the cockpit?
Congratulations to you. Best wishes to you and your wife to be.
Beautiful, Best Gundam Ever!
This sat in my closet for a couple of years. I list the instructions. Found some online and built it. This kit is a beast hesitated for a few hours and decided to do the transformation. Welp, this kit will stay in wave rider form. I'll just buy another rezel. Lol
Amazon sells it for $95 rn
You nailed exactly what Badger advertises the Sotar as. Whan you talked about the small cup, and it not being great for terrain, or large items..... the Sotar isn't really designed at a "base coat" airbrush, that's why it has the small cup. it's why Badger sells a kit with a Patriot 105 and a Sotar. Patriot for Basecoat / Large Shading ,,, Sotar for Fine Detail. the fine detail is where the Sotar really shines :) it's what it was designed for. the very features you didn't like as much, are what make it really shine as a fine detail air brush :)
I haven’t been able to find the 2 airbrush in 1 deal in stock anywhere sadly.
nice job! i just started my own
You have the chest pushed too far in, it should be up and out more.
👍👍👍👏👏👏
Excellent.
Good stuff, you've been subbed
Congrats on the baby greyphantom! I'm still new to gunpla, so watching your videos really help me with the more advanced things like weathering and stuff. Keep up the good work!
Well done, that looks really good.
Nice
Congrats on having a child!!!! Big changes to your life there.
I just realized how similar the Rezel type C defenser loadout is to to the FAZZ
I was thinking the same thing. This will be on the shelf right next to my fazz
WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS
Hi, I can't seem to find how you masked off / split the filled windows back in to two windows?
Martin get I don't think I ever really covered that. basically just lay a piece of masking tape down on your cutting matt, then use a ruler to cut out small rectangles that will be the size you want for the windows. then just place each one where it should go on the acrylic, paint the entire kit and the last thing you do is take them off and you have your windows
wow, that sounds like a lot of extra work! Thanks for replying
I have a drilling tool that i can control the speed of. No problem watsoever with drilling the windows.
That Shiki looks amazing would be nice if you had panel lined it.
This is awesome, the only bits i don't like are the light grey inner frame parts, but I'm picky, overall, this is an epic build!
The aegis has been a bad luck t for me. I had two of the 1/100 no grade and part keep falling off, parts break off even. I hope went I get the mg aegis it will lift the curse.
I think it will. All of the seed MG kits are really solid
+greyphantom1000 I hope ur right, thank for the info.
can u put glue on that loose sideskirt? will that affect its movement?
You certainly could glue it, but it would no longer be able to move.
keep up the good work
where do you get those brass poles
Lowes, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, or Orchard Supply. There is a section that holds small metal pieces for projects.
Thanks for the reply but I live in England and we don't have any of those shops does the pipe have a specific name? Just can't seem to find one.
+Chris Freeth the brand is k & s engineering. U could also just search brass rod on eBay. All sorts of sizes available
Okay will search eBay and hopefully find something. Your voyager model looks great by the way you have inspired me to continue with mine which I have been doing for the last four years lol.
+Chris Freeth awesome! Glad you like it! Yea bud keep it up and get it finished. I have a second one in the closet so I can try to do an even better job one day.
I can't find the modeling channel by John. I can't catch the channel name, could you tell me what it is?
His user name is badgrendals. Just scroll down in these comments and u can click on his name
Thanks!
Wouldn't the super glue and mr cement fog the clear plastic
It can, the key it to use as sparingly as possible and not get it anywhere else other than the seams
Where did you get the gang board
Search for voodoofx. The guy's name is Randy and he sells them. There not on his website (I don't think) but u can email him and ask. He can sell them cheaper too if you assemble it.
Thanks I can use all the help I can get I've lite models before but only one led nothing like this I'm not sure what all I need to get to light this baby
It nice i can get one i will do in zeong red all hail full frontal
Good to see you back! Have fun in Lousiana, far more humid in the summer than California.
John! It's good to be back! I know I've herd that... But we'll manage. Hey I drive through texas and stopped and my first buccee's! It was raining beaver nuggets after that lol
greyphantom1000 LOL!!!
Looking good!!! :O)
Great video!!! :O)
I bought this kit [by Revell of Germany] a couple of years ago. I also bought the Photoetch set. Its sitting on my shelf. Not sure when I'll build it[?] I want to do a very good job! I'll be lighting it. :O) Cheers and kind regards from England. :O)
Is a lot of fun to put together, when you get to it you will like it. I think I will buy another one down the road and do it again to see how I have improved over the years.
greyphantom1000 I first saw the Voyager kit being built by Steve Neill. Those video's (which I watched over and over) is what prompted me to buy the kit! I love the tv series and so, it made sense to buy the kit. :O) Oh, I've subscribed!!! :O)

I really appreciate the subscription from you! I also was inspired by Steve and watched those voyager builds over and over again. So sad he took them down! Hopefully live gets a little less crazy in the next few months and I can start doing more videos again soon!
greyphantom1000 I didn't realise I posted the same reply twice! LOL! :O) Steve had to take the video's down due to the music at the end of the video. RUclips threw a hissyfit over copyright or something. Not Steve's fault. Shame as I enjoyed those video's! Did you build the Equinox?
Damn that is a lot of primer gone for such a small master grade! You should have just added a little pigment from a darker grey lacquer paint and you won't need to use as much primer. You only need a light coat for the paint to adhere too, it doesn't need to completely change the color, that's what the paint is for. Also, you don't need to wait over night or for days with lacquer, it is fully cured in a couple of hours, unlike acrylics which can take a day to fully cure, or enamels which can take several days.
Hi mate! Nice series! I would like to ask about what happen to part 3? I am really interested in your technique on how did you go around making small windows? I have watch few videos on youtube but non of them covers this topic. Most of them finish one video on doing dental acrylic(or something similar) and next one starts with a painted hull with nice separated windows. Can you cast some light on your technique?
Hey! If you look at my videos in order, in between 2 & 4 is a video labeled channel update and it is included in that. Thanks again!
part 3 is where?
If u look at my videos page, it's in between 2 and 4. It starts out as a channel update
how the heck do you get the spray regulator cap off the front? Mine wont turn at all
I think the first time I used to small wrenches. Careful!!
Thanks for sharing. I am getting my first airbrush as a Christmas gift, and have been looking at Badger Airbrushes. Perhaps a 20/20 will be in my future for the exact uses you mentioned. I was nodding my head a lot listening to your explanations.
Did you use any glue what so ever just curious
In strait building no I didn't. Once I paint it I will for the sake of hiding some seam lines
a bit of an overkill for a machine, but awesome package for a kit!
so badass! good job homie!
It's the launcher action base you get with the mg strike
Madskill, perfect painting That weathering effect looks perfect 100/100
I just want you to know these videos have been a HUGE help to me. I am building Voyager for a photography project and your videos are GREAT! I am videoing my progress as well and posted a link to your videos as my inspiration. Thank you so much!
dude the hands are loose because you need to put the connection of the wrist on an angle it means the polycap inside the wrist is too deep for the polycap of the hand
what air brush are you using?
I have a basic Iwata I use for base Coates and primer, and a sotar 20/20 for shading
cant believe im getting this exact kit in a few days! so stoked!
i love it!!!!!
I want one
