This is the first part of the assembly series about an Avrame Trio 120. The ordered package was the structural kit only. Other parts were bought locally.

Very nice how it came together, especially the interior due to the smaller floor plan of the 75. Who were the construction crew, professionals or friends and family?
This is the Trio 100 can saw the size one normal size single bed room and on bath and laundry room (they separated the toilet over there) and living room with kitchen an small dining space area in the first floor, the second two bedroom and they put one small toilet only! If is that Trio 120 must much bigger be the interior two and two normal size bed each floor plus normal size two toilet each floor as well, extra laundry room on first floor as well!
I' am sorry, but this is the Trio 120. It has the 12 m length, but we modified the room distribution. If you wish, you can come and measure the house length. On the other hand, it would not be our interest, to state untrue information.
What size is the A frame rafter, 2x10 inch pine ?

Stick built and labor intensive. No safety harnesses for the work crew on the roof. I love Aframes but this is not worth the investment of time and materials. Much more innovation in the 1950's by the inventors/innovators of A-frames. A triangular enclosure with all the disadvantages of boxes.
Yeah, well 3 people would have been enough to build this. A-frames have been used since the 15th-16th century (check-out Santana in the isle of Madeira, the typical A-frames were really cool, and they used materials available locally)

@@DariusRamelis my wife and i own a construction company and build frames. the style tends to get some bonus dollars but you do get less house per the dollar spent. that is due to the inefficiency in the design

No, not really. The main difference is plasterboards. The factory default is cladding. I hope you to have one too! You will love it!
@@AvrameHungary thanks, i hope so too. Someday I would like to see one in live because I can't imagine what it looks like to live in such a house, I wonder how it is with standing height, if the house is comfortable from this point of view 🤔😄

Good question, it was not necessary. But after that, I don’t think it is a problem.

That floor ?? Will it not rot away ??
The osb under the house is not th floor. No it will not. The house is 30cm above the ground so the moisture will not harm the osb.

How to protect the outside front wall from rain?
Cladding, or any other prefered material. And 900 mm, or longer roof overhang.
Don't think I could live in a house with no wardrobe closets in bedrooms. But it is very beautiful.
There is a full wall cabinet in the bedroom. But if you need a wardrobe, it is fully possible.

This is so helpful. Thanks. From the time when you started insulation to when you had your interior walls framed up, how long was it?
The framing was two days, but it could be faster. I am not sure how long the insulating process lasted. I think it takes 5-10, day depends on the crew.

You've created a perfect vertical wall on the sides (ground floor), seems like there's quite a bit of space left behin those walls. What did you use that space for?
One side of the house there is a storage space, all way long. The opposite side is empty, and it has some space for plumbing.

Can you share details about how the wooden A frames were bolted/fixed down into the OSB platform? No metal "L" joiners used, only screws?
Only special screws, but they are fixed through the osb to the beams.
@@AvrameHungary I can imagine, but in my oppinion it is not sufficient to resist pull forces generated by stronger winds, since the overall structure is very light. Apart from this, great video series! :)
